Pricing Methods
Curious what people are using for their pricing methods. I recently shifted to a more structured pricing plan from the guesses and comp matching that I was using before. I use the Research tool to look up the item. I see the 90 day ASP for the item. I then divide it by .75. This then gives me the approximate listing price. Here is an example. ASP of $19.25 / .75 =$25.67 I would list the item at $26.00 I then run a sale event for the item at 20% off. This makes the actual price $20.80. This leaves a 5% margin left to send a small offer to a liker. How do you calculate your listing price? Is my method too much work? Yes, I have to have the entire store on some sort of sale even all of the time. Is this too much?

Coming back from Vacation
Hi everyone! This is my first time taking a vacation since I started reselling. Any tips or tricks to kick start sales again? I was gone for a week so I feel all out of sorts.

Hang tags on used clothing?
Has anyone tried adding hang tags to used clothing? They could potentially boost brand identity and perceived quality, while encouraging customers to leave feedback and follow the store. Moreover, they could reduce returns from those seeking a free clothes hire service by requiring returns with tags attached, as many retail stores do. Tagging guns are inexpensive on Amazon, and custom tags aren't particularly costly either.

If you could, or had to start over from scratch how would you do it?
If you could or had to completely start over with selling on line. How would you go about doing it? Would you choose a different platform to be on? Would you choose a different category to be in? Assuming we still have our same area to do our listings in, but no tools, printers, scales, tape gun, ect.. Just for fun, lets say we only had $50 to start with. Lets say that everyone has at least a phone to work with.

Sale Events
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I set up discount sales today on my eBay store which is about 300 total listings. 40% off items $15 or less (about half my store) 33% off items $15 or more For some reason I get a bunch of duplicate listings, which I have to go in and remove. Then it just randomly excluded other listings. I had to go in and add them. It's too much work. I am so over sourced right now and so slow with listings. So sick of shuffling the same crap around when I do get a sale. I'm probably averaging 5 -6 sales a week. It's everything I have, to do 6 listings a day. Think I did one yesterday. Ok now I'm rambling. Does anyone know how to fine tune this Marketing discount thing so it works right? Patpet26 aka prose826
