Hang tags on used clothing?
Has anyone tried adding hang tags to used clothing? They could potentially boost brand identity and perceived quality, while encouraging customers to leave feedback and follow the store. Moreover, they could reduce returns from those seeking a free clothes hire service by requiring returns with tags attached, as many retail stores do. Tagging guns are inexpensive on Amazon, and custom tags aren't particularly costly either.

@Wes Benham I'm not really sure what to put on the tags. This is a draft I put together, with the other side basically being the shop name, logo, and a QR code which links to the ebay store. I think perhaps the weakest point is the environmental one (particularly when presented on a throw away piece of paper attached with a plastic tag). I'm hoping the calls to action in the second and third points encourage buyers to leave positive feedback, and to get in touch rather than rush to leave negative or neutral feedback to give me a chance to put things right.
Comment from buyer
Just curious how you would handle this comment, I feel $5.28 is fair for shipping, this is a Patagonia hat & in good condition except for some markings on bill, not beat up. 🤔

Someone starting off like this will ultimately be looking to give negative feedback/an excuse to return, so I would be inclined not to accept. Look at the feedback they've left for others.
Free returns?
I'm looking into what it takes to become a top rated seller plus, and I already have 1 day handling and everything, I just currently have buyer paid returns. Has anyone had any experience with buyer paid vs free returns? I still have a relatively small store, average about 10 sales a week and under 600 listings. Thanks!

@Jessica Armer If it has increased I think it's a very small increase. I would say returns have increased slightly. My ultimate aim is to improve my shop and hopefully build almost like a "brand". Maybe you don't really build brands on eBay as people just search for what they want and buy, but I can give it a try. You can't really say anything fairer when you get a negative or neutral feedback, than to apologise and invite them to make use of your free returns policy. Anybody reviewing feedback looking for issues of concern in negative feedback will then see that. (I can't believe how many negative feedbacks I have got since taking clothes reselling more seriously). Here's an example of negative feedback I've received: "Seller mentioned trousers waist size 30 inches, but it is NOT. These trousers are smaller size." My response: "’I'm sorry to hear the trousers didn’t fit as expected. Occasionally, garments may not match the size on the tag. However, the exact measurements, including the waist size, were provided in the item description to ensure accuracy. Had you reached out, I would have been happy to offer a no-quibble full refund with postage paid. Please feel free to open a return via eBay, and I’ll be glad to resolve this for you."

@Red West the description had the exact measurements, so they had not read it.
(UK based) Google Sheets STR and average sale price calculator
(I hope it's OK to post this here). Inspired by the STR spreadsheets on here by @Jerry Wilson I wanted to try create something that automatically pulls values off eBay's website. My vision is something that could be used for quick field research. Something that's hopefully more convenient than doing the searches manually, or using ebay features like Terrapeak. Unfortunately, as I am UK based, it is based on the UK site. I'm hoping there's some UK-based people who can give it a try out and let me know their thoughts. - With effort updating the category lists and URLs, I assume it could be made to work for the US. Here is my v1.1 alpha. I have not thoroughly tested it, so there may be some circumstances under which it does not work correctly, and may give wildly inaccurate values, or no values at all - use with caution. I hope all that's needed to test it out is to "make a copy". https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/187Vvo8gxm_2wf-fBo5K3xLqYpnh3Q5mWEitRcbGkUUQ/edit?usp=sharing As the sheet accesses the internet to pull values from eBay's website, there will be a prompt for this. Also the reset button needs a script to work, which clears the value of cells. Before authorising it, I strongly recommend reviewing the code to satisfy yourself that's all it does, by going to "extensions" -> "apps script". If you're concerned about authorising the script, the sheet can be used without it, just clearing the categories can be tedious. If you're into playing around with Google sheets, the inner workings can be uncovered by showing "hidden sheets" under "view".

When the actual size is different from the label this is what I'm going to start entering
I never saw this before, maybe you have. I have a pair of pants that is 36x32 on the tag, the actual is 36x31. My title reads 36 x 32 (36x31).

I think lots of returns are happening now because buyers just look at the title and pictures. eBay seems to make it difficult to see the description in the mobile app. I listed a pair of jeans with tag measurements in title and actual measurements in description, and got negative feedback as they clearly had not read the description.
