Start at maintenance calories. This means eating enough to maintain your current weight while focusing on building muscle through weight training.
Situation 2:
If you still want to lose a bit more fat,
Start with a âsensibleâ calorie deficit â about 15-20%. This is just enough to burn fat while still fueling your body to maintain muscle.
