Discover your strength- the power of community
As a passionate advocate for nurse wellness and entrepreneurship, I’m dedicated to helping healthcare professionals rediscover balance, fulfillment, and purpose. After experiencing the pressures and burnout that so many nurses face, I knew there was a better way to live a meaningful life without sacrificing health and happiness. I have dozens of friends who are nurses, and when I ask them, 'Would you choose nursing as a profession again?' the overwhelming response has been no. It's disheartening to hear this from people who entered the field with so much passion and dedication, but it’s a reflection of the immense stress, burnout, and lack of support so many nurses face today. I created this community to support all nurses in managing stress, practicing mindfulness, and exploring alternative career paths that allow them to leverage their skills in ways that reduce burnout. Whether through self-reflection, finding a place to safely vent, “meeting” others who are having the same issue, discovering new entrepreneurial opportunities outside of traditional healthcare, or simple stress-relief techniques, my mission is to guide nurses toward reclaiming their joy—both in their personal and professional lives. Together, we can break free from the pressures of traditional healthcare roles, find our own paths to wellness, and make a living doing what we love.

This from ANA seems very generalized. Where are the real experiences?
I came across this article from the ANA about nurse burnout, but it feels very general. Where are the real tips, the personal stories, and the experiences we can learn from? Burnout is such a serious issue, and we need to hear more success stories, real challenges, and practical solutions that have worked. Nurses, what has helped you? What are your strategies for overcoming burnout? Let’s share and learn from each other! Everything on nurse burnout and stress seems to have the same “vague” information. Let’s get real! https://www.nursingworld.org/content-hub/resources/workplace/what-is-nurse-burnout-how-to-prevent-it/

Funny, NOT funny.
My organisation's gift for "healthcare week" was giving us points for a new reward system. We can get additional points by getting "focused recognition" by vice president and above only. We get 3,500 points for healthcare week moving forward, and 8,000 points for our Christmas bonus this year. Best part of it all is anything worth redeeming points for costs over 300,000 points, the most expensive being between 1M and 1.3M points. That's the best joke I've heard in healthcare.
