A Question and an Update
I'm curious of the different ways members here leverage their environment to work FOR them and not against them. Whiteboards on the walls? Barbell in the living room? Soundproofing a room?
Hopefully this will conjure up ideas for other community members and inspire us to reflect on ways our environment could be better tailored to help us work/focus on the things that matter.
Also a general update to how my week has gone so far:
-Adjusted my wake up time from 10am to now between 7 and 8am (morning walks are great)
-Significant improvement in managing/planning work
-Significant improvement in getting more actual quality work done
-Greatly minimized online distractions. (there's still a few moments where I catch myself but compared to what it has been it is really a BIG improvement)
-Created a workout plan to build strength (walking is helpful but I'm lacking in strength)
Attached are the walks I went on and workout program I made for myself. Nothing insane, but consistency and gradual growth are what I'm trying to focus on. The workout program might seem pretty wack haha but It's simple and has movements I know I'll stick to. I eventually would like to do Jim Wendler's 531 program, we'll see.
Cleaning up my diet and creating a social plan to better connect with people I'm aligned with (and working on complaining a lot less) are the next big deficiencies I'm planning to shift my focus towards.
Keeping in mind the Kaizen principle and not expecting results so soon I believe will aid me a lot throughout this journey. I'm building my foundation. 🏡
Happy Sunday, tribe!
