Theft of Service
This seems to be an increasing problem in my town. I am on my 3rd one and this time they not only refused to pay the remining balance of 50% they also did a charge back on their credit card for the deposit. This time we are filing charges, placing liens and filing a lawsuit in small claims. But I would like to avoid clients like this in the future. This has to be one of the biggest headaches in contracting. To top it off, this woman is DV (disabled veteran). I am trying not to take this one person myself being a veteran as well.
