Willow & Hill House Chairs

The Willow chair was designed by the Scottish architect Charles Rennie MacKintosh in 1904 while the Hill House chair was designed a year earlier in 1903. A few years back I started poly modeling this chair, but it proved such a pain that I gave up in frustration. It was not too difficult using Plasticity. The chair was always painted black, which is not the best colour for rendering, but here's the result with a front and back view.
