The Grass Isn't Always Greener on The Other Side (Skool Journey)
When I initially joined Skool, there was some features that weren't available. Then all of a sudden it was. I was on a roll with my first FREE community, but then decided to go paid because: 1. I didn't want to split my time between 2 communities 2. I wanted to put everything into one place (which some of my previous followers had paid for) During this time, I wasn't able to add people into paid one-time course areas (now that has changed of course). Then during my paid community of course traffic slowed down. Then the payouts took longer somewhere between 8-14 days before funds were released. Not to mention the bank takes a couple more days before funds are fully available. I personally didn't like this hold up on my funds. I also couldn't and still can't offer membership tiers. So, I did what I thought would be better. I left and went to Circle. All I can say, is that I couldn't even stay on Circle for an entire 2 weeks, before I came back to Skool. Circle was great from an admin perspective and with all the bells & whistles.... BUT and that's a BIG BUT - their mobile experience sucked! Admins do not have the ability to take care of administrative tasks via mobile which is highly important for me. Also, the engagement was different from Skools. I asked the few members that transitioned over how they felt about the UX (User Experience). They felt Skool was better in that regard. So, here I am BACK and proud to be back on Skool. Even though Skool, might not have all the bells & whistles, yet.... they are keeping the user experience in mind. It also feels like Skool was made with a mobile first approach, unlike the other platforms out there. I say this because, when you're growing a community to help others, even though another platform might sound good to you and easy for you to use... You always need to keep your Audience front and center. You have to have what's BEST for them in mind. - Not just thinking about what's best for you, but for them.

Thanks for sharing and your honesty Dee! That sounds pretty frustrating to be waiting for some important features like adding people to courses, etc. But I think it's still worth it to build on skool as these features grow. Grass is greener where you water it 🙌
Is the Rule of 300 possible with Skool's DM limit?
I joined Skool after seeing Alex Hormozi's "Step by Step How to Make Your First $10,000 Online (Just Copy Me)" where he talks about the rule of 300. For those unfamiliar, you -Spend 100 mins making content -Make 100 comments in a group related to the thing you help people with. -Send 100 DMs On Skool though, you can only send 10 DMs per week—even if the people have interacted with your posts. Is it possible to do the rule of 300 on Skool if you don't own the community? Am I missing something? Thanks for your help!

Hey brother. Rule of 300 has changed to mean 100 minutes of DMS, 100 minutes of commenting, and 100 minutes of making content That way, people focus on quality of effort. You can also do the DMs on Instagram, Linkedin, the platform formerly known as Twitter, etc.
