Hormozi Money Minute and Hemingway app
I am not sure if you guys subscribe to the weekly newsletter (Hormozi Money Minute). They are really good and short. I wanted to share his latest one because the app he mentioned can be quite useful for all of us! Here is his text: ๐— ๐—ผ๐˜‡๐—ถ ๐— ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜† ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฒ: ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฌ% ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฅ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—•๐—ผ๐—ผ๐˜€๐˜ There are very few things that always work. But, this tactic is about as close as it gets. I once ran all my emails and web pages through this process and got a permanent 50% boost. Hereโ€™s how it works: Run every script you write. Every webinar. Every emailโ€ฆthrough a reading level calculator. Itโ€™ll tell you a grade. Then, keep correcting it until itโ€™s below 3rd grade. I use Hemingway App. Google it. Itโ€™s free and I have no affiliation. โ€œBelow 3rd gradeโ€ usually means: Simpler words. Shorter sentences. Fewer adverbs. No passive language. No excess words. If you want to take this to the next level, actually write inside of Hemingway. This gives you real time feedback and makes you a better writer that much faster. It was one of the things that transformed my writing. To be clear: Simplifying language doesn't mean you attract dumb people. It means you make it easier for higher level people, and you make it possible for lower level people. End result: more people understand you and buy your stuff. This tactic came up when I spoke to a business struggling with sales. I could tell by the way the founder talked about his product, his language was his problem. After he changed, his business grew. Yours may too. I ran his email text through the hemingwayapp and it came back as grad 3 (then changed to 4 after a while). https://hemingwayapp.com/ I also tried it with ChatGPT which usually answers in grade 7 style. I asked it to aim for grad 4 and it made it too simple (grade 2). But then it got it right and here is its final response: Thanks for testing my skills with Hemingwayโ€”it's a fun challenge. Let me know if you need anything else simplified (or complexified)!

@Alexi Drouin The Hormozi and Leila GPTs that are in this group, were those trained on all of their online content including these email newsletters? That would be amazing to have a personal AI-Hormozi business coach. I checked again and saw that those GPTs were only active for 1-2 days many month ago. I will check if they exist in GPT 4.o and in the paid version I could feed them with additional information.

Which skill are you focusing on? ๐ŸŽฏ - ๐Ÿ’ผ Sales - ๐Ÿ“ˆ Digital Marketing - โœ๏ธ Copywriting - ๐Ÿ” SEO - ๐Ÿ“Š Data Analytics - ๐Ÿค– Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hereโ€™s a breakdown of 6 of the top revenue-generating skills for entrepreneurs: ๐Ÿ’ผ Sales Sales is the backbone of any business. Key Points: - Build Relationships: Customers buy from those they trust. - Know Your Product: Every question should have an answer. - Handle Objections: Show value, address doubts. @Alexi Drouin I did some research on upwork and fiverr and it looks like there could be a "shortcut" to apply my skill without "wasting" much time on marketing and sales. But it is too early to say as I haven't landed any work there yet. At least in my niche there are ~10 new projects on upwork daily with modest competition.

Help Us Tell Skool That This Group Is Thriving!
Hi Everyone, Skool recently made a change to its discovery algorithm, which appears to lower the ranking of older, free, and public groups like โ€œAccelerator Universityโ€ compared to other Skool groups that are paid and private. I just wrote this post on the Skool Community to demonstrate that abandoned groups now rank above engaged communities like ours. "Why new algorithm ranks abandoned groups higher now?" https://www.skool.com/community/why-new-algorithm-ranks-abandoned-groups-higher-now/ If Accelerator University has positively impacted you, could you take a moment to comment on this post? Share how youโ€™ve benefited from our curriculum, enjoyed the community experience, and/or the personalized 1-on-1 Coaching. I understand Skoolโ€™s goal is to prioritize โ€œretentionโ€ over growth or engagement. However, this shift will impact older groups like Accelerator University, which has been actively serving members for many months. Please take a moment to click on the link above and tell Skool that the thriving community at Accelerator University is committed to quality discussions, meaningful human connections, and authentic member experiences. It most definitely has. The weekly free office hours and the coaching call by @Alexi Drouin have been of great help to me.

@Luke Gilbert If they give us the formula for the ranking algorithms we could make a more educated guess. Is it the number of members, daily posts, comments and likes on posts, activity of members? It is probably a mix of all of them but without that I agree with you. I am only in 1 paid community and rank had nothing to do with joining it. But now with the new discovery feature it might help to be listed on page one of your category. I guess they want to hide the algorithm so people cannot cheat the system.

@Sascha Born Haven't heard of Flux yet. I use f.lux to filter out blue light on my screen towards the end of the day (great app. I tried the Canva AI and midjourney a bit in the past but will try out Flux on x.

๐Ÿ’ƒ The Woman in the Red Dress: Alex Hormoziโ€™s Lesson from The Matrix
Alex Hormozi tells a powerful story from The Matrix that perfectly illustrates the importance of focus in business. Every day, we face new opportunities. The bigger you get, the bigger the opportunities. And the harder it is to say no. ๐Ÿšซ In the story, Neo is walking through a crowded street with Morpheus. Suddenly, Neo notices a woman in a red dress and his head turns. ๐Ÿ”ด Morpheus asks, โ€œWere you listening, Neo? Or were you looking at the woman in the red dress?โ€ When Neo looks back, the woman is goneโ€”replaced by Agent Smith pointing a gun at his head. ๐ŸŽฏ Hereโ€™s the lesson: In business, distractions often appear as shiny opportunities. ๐ŸŒŸ The higher you climb, the more attractive these distractions become โ€”the woman in the red dress. ๐Ÿ’ƒ At every level of success, you must learn to say โ€œnoโ€ again and again. Alex used to think that once I learned this skill, Iโ€™d be done. But the truth is, the woman in the red dress keeps coming backโ€”each time, more enticing than before. Success isnโ€™t just about innovation; itโ€™s about consistently doing what you should be doing, even when distractions try to pull you away. ๐Ÿ’ก Focus is your superpower. ๐Ÿ”ฅ https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7251657559374274560/ P.S. Whatโ€™s your biggest distraction in business? Comment below. ๐Ÿ‘‡

I guess I am more of a freelancer than a business owner in this regard. I don't want to build a business that I could even sell to someone. But I want to enjoy the freedom of being my own boss and even follow the lady in the red dress if she really interests me. My main goal and path is clear but I don't mind the occasional wondering around and trying out new things. Curiosity is part of what motivates me.

@Alexi Drouin With age I also got much more time conscious. I accepted that I cannot learn or understand everything, that I have to be selective. So having reminders of the direction I want to be on is of great benefit. I hope it gives me the clarity to judge a distraction from a genuine interest.
