Welcome @Malachy Friedman , big fan of your technique videos on IG
Custom rashguard
Hello everybody ! I'm currently in the process of designing a MMA rashguard that I could produce and sell later as a brand. However, I've came up with many different ideas and I have a hard time being objective about what I created. I know there is many things I could still improve. If some of you would like to give me a honest review on it, just comment or DM me. I truly could not thank you enough. I do not want to post pictures here because I'm not trying to promote anything. I don't even sell it yet, I'm just looking for advices from people that share my passion and that may see what I'm looking to create. Have a nice day everyone !

Lower back pain due to improper Deadlift technique
I have some issues with the left side of my lumbar area. I believe it is only a muscle pull. I have only local pain in the left side but pretty much I cannot train. Do you have some pointers to deal with this and recover soon?

@Elias Marinos thank you!
Starting Strenght and 5/3/1
Do you have experiences with these training protocols? Do you use them in conjunction with MMA training? If so, how? Thank you

@Jakob Lundberg do you have thoughts about this?
physical performance in mma
Exciting studies from 2017 that included 29 competitors at high and low level in MMA. In the study, all competitors completed physical tests in the form of squats, SJ and bench press. The result showed significant differences between high and low level competitors. It was thus possible to distinguish between amateurs and professionals in MMA by just looking at their physical characteristics. What do you think? How important are physical attributes in MMA? https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27632577/

I think that, like in every other sport (except chess) physical attributes are the major factor of success. This is obviously a little bit sad since it means that some people will never reach high level, even with good technical, tactical and strategic training. Obviously if one has good physical attributes and outstanding "technical" training and motivation it is certainly possible to reach good or even high level, there are multiple factors and it is difficult to have a perfect recipe to create a champion, there are multiple ways to reach the top, so to speak.

I think that it is certainly good to increase strenght since it is one of the few attributes which can be increased greatly and which can also help in preventing injury and sustain performance as a base attribute. But it does not guarantee to get you to high level in MMA.
