The Scale is not the only Winnerโ€ฆ
Happy Thursday Everyone! I usually do a weigh in each Thursday, as I like to just take notice were I am (no judgment) some days up, some days same, some days down, just like LIFEโ€ฆ. When I weigh in, I donโ€™t want this to be the only measurement of my success in my wellness journey. For the past month I have not had a loss on the scale (August), but held steady on my goal weight. BUT other things were changing. Yesterday I decided to do a body measurement (which I do every couple of months) and lo and behold I have lost another 2.5 inches. In 10 months I have now lost 22.5 inches from my body. I could feel some articles of clothing fitting differently over the summer, so this was my validation that I was still winning ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ’ช ! Look in other places to find your WINS, you will be surprised how badass you really are!!! Have a Wonderful Day Everyone

When you think itโ€™s healthy, BUT itโ€™s notโ€ฆ
Over the weekend I was babysitting my granddaughters and they wanted to go to Booster Juice. I thought this was great, not asking to go to McDonaldโ€™s haha! So off we went and they each picked their flavour, & of course I decided I should get one too. It was going to be a busy day with the munchkins so I better get my energy stocked up. I chose one that was called High impact with high proteinโ€ฆโ€ฆ I did not feel great all morning long, blotted & gassy. Iโ€™m like what the Hโ€ฆ I thought this was a good choice, NOT Afterwards I did a check on the ingredients. 26 gr protien, but 70 grams of sugar and full of carbs. NOW I know the why I didnโ€™t feel good. ( I still had a blast all day with my girls) Note to SELF: there is always that wolf in sheepโ€™s clothing ๐Ÿ˜‚. Always do a quick check if this is what you are looking forโ€ฆ.

Sounds like a great opportunity to learn. Thanks for sharing, Flory. Preparing our meals at home will always be a better option. The smoothie is a great example of this. Very easy to make and take with you when you know you'll be out for the day. Sip as you go so you don't get stuck. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’ช
My Brilliant Body - Being Me
It's weird and also wonderful to beginning something fresh in a place where no one knows me. Let me introduce myself; I'm on day 10 of being connected to my Diaphragm where I can tell when my breathing is shallow or not. Tomorrow, I start day one of Sun and Moon Salutations. One of my current contemplations is FASCIA. I want to know all about it. I'm also an avid cheerleader and communicator Which means I will be posting daily for my own means of accountability. So Hot Here in Malakwa
So for this last 2 weeks I have been focusing in portion control and not eating after 8pm. It used to be 7pm but when the excessive heat hit us, no one wanted to eat or even be awake for it. So I have been making large meals between 10pm and 4am. Then things are cooled and packaged up, some for the the fridge and the next day, and some go into the freezer for future use.

Back to a proper workout
After a little more than a week on Vacation, I was successful in holding my weight steady, I did a 15 minute interval walk, 6 minute Ab blaster work out and a 15 minute stretchโ€ฆ. Felt great!!!
