My wife and daughter got their brown belts tonight. The climb continues. 💪⚡💪

Something I started about 5 years ago, was making an outdoor workout mandatary on a daily basis (no matter what the weather is). Actually wish I would have started this sooner. Even here in the Midwest when the winter comes, I will layer up and get outside. The exercises varies depending on conditions The physical benefits are one thing, but the mental and health components are another. Having clarity to visualize and think outside is different than being inside (at least for me). Not to mention I have not been sick with the seasonal issues others get since I started this. I don’t think this is a “coincidence” either. When the aquarium seems to shrink and retreat, I hear people say something along the lines of “gym is packed today because of the snow storm”, I smile. I know that most will seek comfort over being uncomfortable. Do any of you have any outside “rituals” you do? Always looking to grow and get some new ideas. 💡

Just want to put it out there. I know this time of year can be stressful and sometimes dam near depressing even with all of the holiday spirit that comes with it. The loss of loved ones no longer here to be with us, finances, hustle and bustle so on and so forth. If any of you ever need someone with a non bias ear to vent to, I'm always here. Hell I didn't even check to see if we have a private messaging option on here lol! But I'm here if anyone needs to talk.

I hope everyone on here had an amazing Thanksgiving! I am very grateful for many things in my life but today I am grateful for my Jiujitsu tribe here at Cultivate Power Fighting! Thankful for Darell and Jennifer for having a gym where we can go in even on our "down time" when there are no classes. I have been a huge tribal person for a very long time, and recently lost a huge chunk of my tribe when I had to move back to my hometown of Oroville CA. I was beyond ecstatic when I found my new tribe and home here at Cultivate Power! Together we rise divided we fall.🇺🇸❤️‼️💪🏼
