23 Days After Launch Of Free | Full Transparency ๐Ÿ”
It's been a very busy 23 days.. in the best way possible! I want to share with you the details to either encourage or help you.. or avoid what I didn't do right. Yes, I could have done a few things better. This isn't a short post. Grab a snack and drink. Limitations: - No ads campaigns. - No active social media accounts. - No previous network off Skool was brought with me. - No camera. I do this faceless besides this one profile photo. (Yes, it is me.) - No babysitter. I am a single stay at home mom to a 3 year old boy. (Adoption, so it's just me.) ๐Ÿ” Full Transparency: I have been in the business and entrepreneurial world for almost 2 decades, so what I do have is experience that I brought with me. About a decade for online communities. However, I share the above, because starting from scratch can be tough and daunting at certain points. Face the fear and do it anyway. There are so many supportive people in this community that are willing to help, and there are so many very valuable communities that are free too. Knowledge + Action = Results. Good or bad results, they are still there for you to make adjustments and move forward. Okay enough of that so I don't sound like a thought leader. Results: - 151 members - Ton of Auto DM responses - 444 comments on the Welcome Post (Sorry Sam I know 444 is not lucky) - $51 in sales for my low ticket classroom ($3 low ticket/high value) - 30 Clarity Calls Completed - 16 Clarity Call Reviews Via Post or Comment - All Great Reviews Pinned To Booking Area - 10 Clarity Calls Booked To Do - 34 people have been added via the Invitation Competition (@Artin Asghari in the lead & @Ethan Brits close behind him) - 26.76% Conversion rate - 50% are still Level 1s - #138 rank in the Business Category for Discovery - Activity metrics are green some more than others. Today there are 252 activities already. - 7 Churned members. - Personal "Ahhhh" fan moment. When @Calvin Hollywood shouted out my community in Skool Games.. yeahhh you know the theme. I did tell my mom & some Skool besties. LOL

Secret Skool Shortcuts
I was posting about a Skool bug I was having on my Dvorak keyboard. It's preventing me from using Skool keyboard shortcuts normally. But @Thomas Jordan asked me about other Skool shortcuts I discovered. I created a meme about them. And posted it at the bottom of my bug thread. But thought it'd be a good idea to post it here too, since it seemed like a lot of people are interested in keyboard shortcuts. I couldn't find any more. Don't think there are any more right now. Do you know any more? Let me know. But are there any on this list that you'll find helpful?

First Skool, then your community
I've been active on Skool for over a year now, and Iโ€™ve spent a lot of time thinking about why some people stick around while others leave. In my opinion, people stay on a platform when they truly understand itโ€”both technically and in terms of how to use it effectively. ๐Ÿ’ก Hereโ€™s my key thought: When you bring people from social media into your Skool community, their first interaction is with Skool itself, not your community. This is so important to understand. Our goal should be to make new members like Skool as a platform. If they enjoy using it, theyโ€™ll stick around and log into your community regularly. I believe a lot of new members drop off and go back to social media because they donโ€™t fully connect with Skool. So, what should we do? Skool makes it super easy for us since itโ€™s really user-friendly and self-explanatory. We donโ€™t need to spend too much time explaining how the platform works technicallyโ€”maybe just add a few tips in the onboarding process. But whatโ€™s even more significant, I think, is explaining how Skool is different from social media. Here, itโ€™s not about endlessly posting about yourself or mindlessly scrolling. Itโ€™s about being active and engaging in conversations. Thatโ€™s something we should highlight during onboarding. Conclusion New members engage with the platform first, and only then with your communityโ€”especially if theyโ€™re coming from social media. We need to meet them where they are and guide them the right way. If we can get these new members to genuinely like Skool (the way we do), theyโ€™ll stay, join multiple communities, and everyone benefits. So, we should all ask ourselves: "What can we do to make new members love Skool and want to stay?" What do you think?

That activity chart is crazy!
Partial Lead Collection Feature Request
Hey Skool team! I think being able to collect partial leads or at the very least be able to see how many people are completing the first part but not finishing signup would be cool for retargeting purposed and "abandoned cart" emails to boost conversion!

Looks like this is already implemented in our group Dashboards. Or are you thinking Skool should give you the email address of anyone who visited your About page?

@Kenneth Lopez Could be a great idea. They already entered their email so why not? ๐Ÿค”
When were you ready for Skool Games?
How long were you on Skool before you did the games? Did you wait to have your platform built out?
