The past 29 days I’ve drafted my first nonfiction book, outlined a course, and possibly said goodbye to a relationship I thought would last forever. Whatever is going on in your life right now, I invite you to take a picture of your creative space and post it in the comments. Not for judgment — but to commemorate this moment in your journey. I’ve often destroyed photographs, drawings, writings, even films (!) I’ve created over the years as part of my grieving process. I’d like to change that by documenting, acknowledging the painful parts of my life now. Who knows how I’ll feel when I look at this picture six months from now. We’ll see.

I am sorry to hear about your friendship. That is always so painful. Congrats on outlining a book! I can hardly wait to see the book. Reading and writing has always helped me in the grieving process. I am traveling so I cannot take a picture of my messiness. However, I want to share this with you: https://askdrnandi.com/highly-intelligent-people-and-messy-houses-unraveling-the-genius-in-clutter/#:~:text=Contrary%20to%20popular%20belief%2C%20a,people%20and%20their%20messy%20houses
Lets celebrate our wins!
I just read Mitchell Pluto's interview with Saturno Buttò. Congratulations on an excellent article, Mitchell. I appreciate that you asked the artist what time of day he creates art. I related to what Saturno Buttò said about transitioning from working later in the day to starting earlier morning as his career progressed. I imagine a lot of artists experience this as they focus more and more on the one thing (their art) and remove their focus from everything else. Lets remember to celebrate our wins! Comment below your wins for this week. If you have links, please share! https://shungagallery.com/saturno-butto-interview/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR3v3QPn6hLSzv7D0HMvDf9dSzWwc3vBuptHeMSrJl4FXqDByKA4FrRbtD0_aem_AcIt6SdrAJK2y6MYVGFKoMtfJW82Qy85uj0NLa-YJRLMMY-u_OdjuUWpOALO8W0kMXX4ClBVHHzGsuqnkUvlhx-2

@Alec Hawkins this is awesome!
Lets grow your audience
You must see yourself as a business, as a brand if you want to live as an artist. Think of Salvador Dali. The man had an image, a vibe, a mystique. All of this was calculated. “The Ramones knew what they would look like before they knew what they would sound like.” Lets fuckin’ go, y’all!! The BEST way to grow an audience today is to start a YouTube channel. You know more than you think you do — and people will learn so much from you. Who is your audience? It’s the YOU from two years ago. Hell, six months ago. Start a YouTube channel and document your Hero’s Journey. Watch the video below, and create your YouTube Channel. Post your first video on a topic only you could teach. Make it sloppy, make it real. Fuck perfection! Say yes to doin’ the thing. Post your video below so we can learn from you and cheer you on. We will offer feedback if you like, but the important thing is You Did It! Punk Rock lied to you https://youtu.be/hj4HalxlIrQ
