I've decided to switch my business focus. I hate sales plus the tech needs about 2-3 years of research. So I've decided to focus on my consumer app and just write a grant for the other. Business: Think of us as Amazing Races meeting Pokemon Go with a hint of Tinder. We connect Solo Travels with other travels for activities. We are not launched but I have 6 people who want to use it and upload their content. I am able to talk to 2-3 customers each week and some B2B partners. Goals: With that shift, I'm building my alpha app by the end of November. I'm also building up marketing presence.

I'm behind on cold DMs this week. I'm wondering if I'm too niched down or if I should keep at it. I disqualify most the active people on Twitter and LinkedIn. So it feels like big waste of time. I'm considering that that might be correct.

@Frederick Morgan I've done that a few times. This the most custom my messages have been. I think I need to change my business model. That will take time to think about.
πŸ“š How has taking action taught you more than reading about it?
Reflect on Alex Hormozi's realization that real learning comes from doing rather than just reading. Consider a time when engaging in actual activities, like Hormozi’s sales calls, provided you with deeper understanding or skills compared to just reading or studying about it. Share your experience in action-driven learning in the comments below. Keep your response between 25 to 100 words. @Andres Biarge yes I send between 20-30 cold outreaches a day. Since this Monday, we'll see how it goes. I'm doing a lot of research into the prospects before sending a DM. But that's because my niche requires that.
The Value Equation by Alex Hormozi
πŸ’Ž Infinite Value = You win the game πŸ† Value-Drivers: 1. πŸ† Dream Outcome: What do I get? 2. πŸ€” Perceived Likelihood of Achievement: Will it work? 3. ⏳ Time Delay: How long does it take? 4. πŸ’ͺ Effort and Sacrifice: What do I need to do? Dream Outcome 🌟 Channel desire through your offer. 🏝️ Sell Hawaii, not the plane ride! ✈️ Perceived Likelihood of Achievement πŸ”’ Build trust that your offer works. πŸ’¬ Use messaging, proof, and guarantees. Time Delay ⚑ Make everything instant, smooth, and easy. ⏳ The shorter the wait, the more valuable! Effort & Sacrifice πŸ”§ Lower effort and sacrifice to increase appeal. πŸ’° Done-for-you services charge more to avoid effort. Pro Tip: "Get the Bottom to Zero!" Perception is Reality = Value πŸ‘€ πŸš€ Sees themselves in dream outcome πŸ“ˆ Sees higher chances of success ⏲️ Sees shorter time to results πŸ’ͺ Sees less effort and sacrifice πŸ’¬ Found this helpful? I have trouble framing the dream outcome since what I do is more long term benefit. I'm working on it though.

@Alexi Drouin I work in analytics and real AI not LLMs. So I can't give you 50 new leads in 3 months. What I can do is reduce operational cost by over 2 years. I can help you open a new market by identifying customers but the profits won't be seen for a year. There's stats on how this works. I can immediately show you what is and what happened but that's not a quick result.

You couldn't have told me early in my career that brand was more important than tech. But after seeing many tech founders fail, I know that branding is everything. Anyone can build it. Not everyone can make the customer happy.
