Getting Bored with daily big salads
I'm getting bored with my daily big salads so I thought I'd ask the community for smoothie recipes? I want to have greens in them and could mix in other salad things like cucumber, mushrooms, or etc. I don't have a Vitamix blender or anything fancy for smoothies yet just a basic blender but can puree so should be able to make smoothies I just haven't gotten creative yet

@Derek Crans No problem. Thanks for sharing. Absolutely, at the beginning of the journey it's natural to need to break this up into smaller meals. Over time as your stomach elasticity improves, you'll probably get it down to 2-3 meals if you desire. For sure, it was the same for me at the start of my journey too. I lost a bit of weight, but gained it back as I focused more on calorie density. Often at the start, we feel so full, but we haven't hit our calorie or micronutrient needs. That's great - proper food combining will make the lifestyle more of a breeze!

@Derek Crans no worries, absolutely - wishing you great health on your journey.
Which fruits do you enjoy in the autumn time?
I can’t wait for persimmon season, just the thought makes my mouth water😆 I live in the UK, so grapes and bananas are always a staple year round. How about you, what are your go to fruits this time of year?

@Doug Graham sounds awesome. I tried cherimoya for the first time the other day, and while I could tell it wasn't fully ripe, it was still amazing. One of nature's many delights.

@Doug Graham awesome Doug, sounds delicious. I’ll have to get some pineapples in my next shop
X-rays
I went to see a dentist and she wants me to have a panoramic dental X-ray. I´m not sure it´s that necessary and I don´t want to do it. I´d like to know your opinion on these procedures. Do you consider them potentially harmful?

@Richard Gambino I agree with Richard. I think an occasional X-ray is nothing to worry about. I'd politely decline the fluoride, if you don't already though🤣

@Derek Crans sounds good to me, definitely plenty of demand in this modern world. Also it aligns with your recent health journey, so you can talk from experience. My messages are always open if you’re looking to network & have some accountability, I’m in the same space.

@Kelly Waechter No worries, I also wanted to ask, do you drink any water at all? Also, do you eat many dried fruits? Often we can have a lot of problems with digestions & allergies/intolerances when we're dehydrated. Do you feel thirsty prior to meals?

@Kelly Waechter ok cool, just wanted to check - I know it’s an obvious one but dehydration impacts almost every bodily function.
