@Jesse Foust It comes to mind like a mantra: „… put your wrist around the kettlebell instead of the kettlebell around your wrist!…“ So yes, I'm pretty sure he's said something about it before... 🤔🤣
30-Day “Farmers Walk” Challenge
I’m always up for ANYTHING that will rally the troops and this 30 day challenge is a perfect way to do so!!! In my mind the real value of doing these types of daily challenge workouts is the accountability they create by forcing a non-negotiable goal specific action. Not only do they improve gains, but they build discipline, too! So I wanna try something out with you guys open to a challenge. For the next month, I want you to take part in this “Farmers Walk Challenge”… The rules are simple: - Designate the distance or sets of failure you’ll do - Rotate the different weights daily (go up then down) - Carry on every set til absolute failure (dropping it) …And - Resting for 30 seconds between each set… If you’re in, which I really hope you are, then reply YES to the survey… Make sure to check out the YouTube video attached for more details… LFG!!! Did the KWA month 3 day 10 today after work. Honestly skipped the 100 push ups in the morning because I ran out of time and didn’t catch up around my workout due too the fact that I surprisingly still felt a strong soreness in my chest from the last two days. Will get up a bit earlier tomorrow and do 200 pushups to catch it up - fair enough inner bitch 👊😅 The challenge sounds great and I love doing farmers walks in our garden as long as the weather is fine✊. But the more I hate them if it’s raining and I have to walk hundreds of circles in my little fitness room. 😝 Will join the challenge anyway! 💪😉

@Henrik Smeby thanks for your advice. This sounds like a good idea. Sometimes I feel some light pain in my left shoulder at the biceps tendon after pushing to heavy.

Hey Brothers and Sisters, I had to struggle with a strong flu last week, which threw me out of my KWA training and diet routine. I always find it particularly difficult to get back into the previous routine after a break, especially if it has weakened me physically. A simple situation like this has caused me to fail several times in the past. The day before yesterday I found myself once again tempted to cancel the actual plan (KWA Phase 3, Day 8) or at least start again a phase further down. This time I picked up my smartphone, read your posts from the past week and let them inspire and motivate me not to give up again and instead keep at it! So here I am - Back on track and just finished Day 9 of month 3! LFG!!!

@Miriam Singler My wife and I had the same problem at some point of our progression, exactly like you are describing here. Lucky one you’re also from Germany! 😄 Here we have access to the competition Kettlebells from a Shop called „Perform Better“. They are the only one I know so far, who are producing the KBs from 8kg ALL THE WAY UP to 28kg in 2kg Steps! (The rest up to 48kg in 4kg steps) For us it was a happy coincidence that we started stocking up on kettlebells at this very dealer many years ago, as for now we have 12 pairs of kettlebells with different weights but all in an absolute identical size and style! 😁 I’m very sure that this manufacturer will also be a great option for you to… 😉👍 Greetings from lovely south of Bavaria, Dominik

Family and friends are typically a LARGE part, but not the ONLY of most peoples “WHY”. I’m a big believer that every man should have something that they’re deeply passionate about and pushes them to bring out the best virtues in themselves with (outside of just lifting)… For me it’s bowhunting. It’s hard, it’s frustrating, it’ll break your heart into a million pieces, but while it is all of those things, it’s also something that forces patience, discipline, work ethic, and grit. All things that make me a better person while pursuing it. So I can get to know all of you better, let me know what hobbies YOU are passionate about, and what positive virtues it/they bring out in you…

I really like hiking, mountain biking and going out for good recovery walks with my dog. I also love to go for a ride on my „iron horse“ but that happens not that often. Apart from that, I am a youth leader in a voluntary association for children who like to go to the mountains and discover nature. Similar to the scouts only with more focus on the mountains.

Dominik from Germany. Doing fitness training for at least 14 years (9 with kettlebells) but never found a solid way to get really shredded.
