The Winter Slump 🥶
🕰️ The clocks are about to change, and with that, we lose even more daylight here in the UK (for those elsewhere, we envy you). This time of year? It's HARD. The mornings feel darker, colder. Getting out of bed, going to the gym, preparing meals—it all feels like more of a grind. The pull towards comfort, the desire to take it easy, grows stronger. But here’s the thing: IT'S BECAUSE IT'S HARDER THAT WE MUST PUSH HARDER. Think about it—if you can build strong habits and routines over the next few months, during the toughest part of the year, what will that do for your self-confidence? How will it feel to know you’ve shown up for yourself, even when it wasn’t easy? It’s in the moments where it’s hardest that true growth happens. Your commitment, your discipline—that’s what builds integrity. What will you be doing to make the winter months that little easier and more manageable?!

i’m gonna start going to bed earlier so it’s easier to get up in the morning - also putting my phone on the other side of my room so i need to get up for my alarm!

Hi, I’m Eilidh! At this time of year my biggest struggle is getting out of bed in the morning, mainly on my working days. I hate getting up when it’s still dark outside, I’m rolling out of bed 30mins before I’m due to start work - I would love to kick this habit and be up before 6am, so I can have a coffee and have a stress free morning, no running around like a headless chicken before I go to work 😌
