Was able to break away from the family this morning and get into a tree stand. Anyway, didn’t see much but DID manage to come up with some ideas for us here. You see, I’m always looking to figure out how to push you guys and provide the type of accountability that helps you get the MOST out of your God given potential. One of the ideas I thought about recently was doing a 30 day transformation challenge with you all… Any takers?

PM Farmers Walk 1 KB 41 lbs. in one hand and 1 KB 45 lbs. in other hand x 2 min. each, about 10 Sec. to change hands, 0.16 Miles in 4 min. 2 CB 10 lbs. Side Swing x 140 in 2 Min. 6 Sec. 10 more flights. Usual breakfast. Lunch was early Thanksgiving celebration with friends: kale salad with nuts, apples, and sweet potato bits; turkey breast with gravy and string beens and candied yams; pumpkin pie; coffee with milk. Snack 1/2 Jo Jo bar, 3 Brazil nuts, 4 dates. Supper spinach and tomato pizza, 2 slices; 1 square dark chocolate, 1/2 pear, Activia fruit yogurt 4 oz., water with lemon.
Farmer's Carry Challenge Day 20!!
I lost 4 days there, 3 for travel and completion of an orienteering event, which I and my team did really well by-the-way, 2nd Place out of 10 strong teams, and I lost 1 day to getting my face cut with some biopsies and pumped with lidocaine, sort of sucked. Today, one 40# Kb, 1/4 mile, combo of suitcases, racked, and goblet carries. This crazy challenge is making me stronger in unforeseen ways. I am digging it! Looking forward to see what the coach has in mind for the 30 day transformation challenge!

Snatches, Wood Chopping, Campfire Cooking, S’mores, and Gladiator II
Settling in to watch Gladiator II with the wife after chopping a cord of wood, knocking out a nice snatch routine, crushing a campfire cookout, and having a fun S'more's session with the kids..Anyway, wanted to share a quick tip as well as check in to see how you capped off the work week. As for that quick tip: if you hate cardio, find some labor intensive chore around the home front that helps boost work capacity. Chop wood, clean gutters, mow the lawn with a non-self propelled mower (while wearing a weight vest if you REALLY wanna beef it up)…To me, this type of “cardio” beats the HELL out of just riding a stationary bike for a half hour…PLUS you have the benefit of getting shit crossed off the “honey do” list. What you guys got planned for the weekend? What are you doing to serve your “WHY”??? Check in!!! Hands Up…KEEP FIGHTING!!!

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this experience. Today I did Farmer's Walk with 2 KB 31 lbs. and after 7 1/2 min. my hands went numb from the circulation being cut off by the KB handles. I continued to 9 min. 10 sec. My grip never gave out but the numbness got really severe. Coach Mandler, do you advise stopping when the numbness starts or do you push through it and if so, for how long?
