πŸ’ƒ The Woman in the Red Dress: Alex Hormozi’s Lesson from The Matrix
Alex Hormozi tells a powerful story from The Matrix that perfectly illustrates the importance of focus in business. Every day, we face new opportunities. The bigger you get, the bigger the opportunities. And the harder it is to say no. 🚫 In the story, Neo is walking through a crowded street with Morpheus. Suddenly, Neo notices a woman in a red dress and his head turns. πŸ”΄ Morpheus asks, β€œWere you listening, Neo? Or were you looking at the woman in the red dress?” When Neo looks back, the woman is goneβ€”replaced by Agent Smith pointing a gun at his head. 🎯 Here’s the lesson: In business, distractions often appear as shiny opportunities. 🌟 The higher you climb, the more attractive these distractions become β€”the woman in the red dress. πŸ’ƒ At every level of success, you must learn to say β€œno” again and again. Alex used to think that once I learned this skill, I’d be done. But the truth is, the woman in the red dress keeps coming backβ€”each time, more enticing than before. Success isn’t just about innovation; it’s about consistently doing what you should be doing, even when distractions try to pull you away. πŸ’‘ Focus is your superpower. πŸ”₯ https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7251657559374274560/ P.S. What’s your biggest distraction in business? Comment below. πŸ‘‡

my biggest distraction is seeing people make a lot of money in the skool games, and their businesses are all about 1/ making money online 2/ fitness So now I ask myself whether I should stop doing what I'm doing and pick a new niche, like e.g. making money with Skool
Does MMR take ad spending into account?
MMR for the Skool Games doesn't substract your ad spendings right? so is MMR a valuable metric for winning the Skool Games? One might overspend on ads, or run ads at a loss, and still win the Skool Games, no? Am I missing something?

can it be that some people are running ads at a loss just to get their name in the top 10 of the skool games? cause being ranked in the skool games for sure will result in a lot of sales.
Ads: learn to do it myself or have someone set this up for me?
I have a free and a paid group. Free group: 100 members atm Paid group: 50 members atm Doubt: should i learn to set this up and manage myself, joining a community like Skool Ads Lab, or should i just not spend time on this and have somebody set this up for me (and manage)? What's your experience with this?

@Stephanie Hetu i dont know. i feel like i should know how ads work first. just like i know how to edit videos, and only then i can delegate the editing. Basically i feel like i should know everything 🫣
I heard Hormozi say "1 Course, 1 Call, 1 blabla"
So i have 2 courses inside my classroom: level1: a 6-week breathwork course level2: a training program to hold your breath up to 4+ minutes (my community is for freedivers hence the breathholds) Should i strip level 2 and just keep level 1 (re-brand it / narrowing my avatar) and promote the heck out of it? (and certainly forget about the idea of even creating a level3) what's your opinion? thanks - the original idea was to create some kind of education/training system with 4 levels, just like it's the case for real life diving courses e.g. PADI1, PADI2, etc) - - if i stick to level 1 only, my avatar becomes different from if i would have level 2 (which is more for aspiring or beginner freedivers). Hence the need for re-branding

@Omar Elgazzar right now level 1 & 2 is the offer in the paid community. I was thinking about offering level 3 (and 4) as a standalone course with 1 time payment, not monthly. it's like an upsell once you're in the paid community. I'll give it a thought whether a high ticket with 1-on1 access to me would be a better option. thanks πŸ™
