Exp so far on Skool
Below I list realizations I've had so far on Skool about operating on here. If you agree or disagree with any of the posts please let me know why. (I'm new and still useless) Thanks! The competitive lense I have looked at school through comes from my experience in sports where I committed fully and obsessed to level up over time. Here is what I have learned so far on Skool in the order I realized them. 1. Community interactions are like getting wins at a practice. They're only real benefit is notoriety IF you W in actual competition too. 2. Skool and Hormozi are BOTH genuinely focused on helping the beginner/little guy succeed! This whole platform is designed to reward you for interacting and using the platform in an interactive way progressively across time spent here. Compounding! 3. I have no skills. I will need to learn how to schedule calls, organize zoom meetings and learn to sell!😳 Which is honestly SO exciting!! Until I have some skills (can help fix problems) I have no value to exchange for quality interactions on here commensurate with being full time. And only when so much of these skills and niche are setup behind the scenes is the interaction relevant or positive!! ((Missing peice)Refer back to point 1) 4. Messaging people on here is probably a more valuable start than any highly interactive post when starting out especially. 5. Realizing my niche is wrong. Changing the community to something I can better help people with. ie. I have more experience, more success, and can reach a larger audience with. That subject already has numbers of people interested in it and could use help or counseling on transforming their lives around with knowlege I can offer. 6. More to come as there is more to learn. 🙃

@Drea Scanlan Glad I can help. It's fun to learn and we are all in the together so long as we are interacting.
Why did I lose my flame 😫?
I have been diligent about being active on Skool every day. I belong to many communities. My flame 🔥 is suddenly gone. Could someone please 🙏 explain why? @Sam Ovens

Find Your People (Part 1)
Before signing up for Skool, I didn’t know any of these people. Now, they’re some of my closest friends. Who have you found on Skool?

Post Draft
It dawned on me that we do have draft courses inside the classroom. Is it possible to create draft posts?? I know I can create drafts in Google docs. But sometimes I’m right in the middle of creating a post only to have a phone call or some other distraction come through on my phone. It would be really cool to hit “save draft” and come right back to finish it. Is this too much?

Yes!! Huge thing with Skool is not saving drafts. Probably in an effort to encourage shorter more precise posts. I imediatly knew I should plan it out completely on paper before going on the platform with classrooms... havnt actually applied that to all posts though!... that would be helpful!🤪
The 7 C's
After seeing 100+ beginners make $10,000 per month, I noticed they often follow the 7 Cs: A memoir by @Andrew Kirby the great 1. Consume What: Learn by consuming the content of experts. Why: Most great creators start as obsessive consumers. The quality of what you consume dictates the quality of your life. How: Consume educational content from people who have achieved the results you want. Avoid too much entertainment. Action item: Attend the Hormozi Q&As or watch the replays. / 2. Comment What: Leave helpful or thoughtful comments on what you consume. Why: “When starting out, you need to make people aware you exist” - Hormozi. Commenting is the easiest way to do this. When you create content, you compete with everyone on the platform. This is hard. When you comment, you only compete with the other comments of that post. This is easier. How: Add to the discussion with insights, compliments, connections, or help. Focus on quality over quantity. Action item: Leave comments when you have something to say. / 3. Chat What: Start conversations with people you're engaging with. Why: Relationships scale faster than content. It's easier to get people you know to listen to you then strangers. Chatting builds your network and creates future opportunities. How: DM people who you’re excited to chat with and start genuine conversations. Action item: Start building relationships and help where you can / 4. Call What: Talk to people on calls to find problems and deepen relationships. Why: The best way to find out how to help is to ask. Calls build trust, reveal problems and desires, and help you figure out where you can help. How: Ask the people you chatted with to hop on a call. Focus on connecting and helping, not selling. Action item: Get on 10 calls / 5. Case study What: Get proof and referrals by working for free. Why: Proof > Promise. Helping for free lets you build skills, get testimonials, and gain referrals. It’s the bridge to paid work.

@Fardau Jansma Exactly! Like focusing on the goal and refining it as you learn. Improve YOU and then the value never is lost no matter what happened. Like the last Hormozi video I saw. [Refine also your distractions] ! So then what is a distraction and what is helping you toward your goal also changes as you progress and refine the goal!🤔 The way you worded that got me thinking! Hehe
