Anyone up to a monthly pricing challenge?
I have a former coaching client who came up with a cool idea. She suggested that I create a pricing challenge with this community. I'd create a fictional (or maybe even a real) scenario, throw it out to this group, and see who gets closest to that price. It wouldn't be reward-based since we all can come up with a price and we all could be correct provided the price is profitable. But this way we could work through a price together and see how we each do things differently based on our pricing strategy.

Challenge anyone?
I need my butt kicked in winning new business. Anyone open to a friendly action-based challenge to bring in more clients in the month of November?

I'm in.
Overwhelmed!
When I started my business I started residential first to increase my cash flow quickly before I go into commercial BUT these residential clients are a handful. Part of my thinking was that once I get the commercial really going I would grow a manager to lead the residential side or opt out of residential all together. I'm trying to get the commercial side of my business going but I feel all over the place. Has anyone else felt like this when you first started and what were some things you did to keep on track?

I was in the same boat and sort of still have a foot in. I no longer advertise or open myself to residential but when they call, I oblige and book. The neediness, unpredictability, and hoarding inspired me to phase out our residential clients to focus on commercial. Good luck! I know how you feel!
These vinyl floors... 💆‍♂️
Med spa. Vinyl flooring. 1 year old. ~2,000 square feet. We ran the standard sweeping, vacuum, mopping with vinegar solution via microfiber mop. It "cleans" all quite well but it doesn't lift the dirt that we found only after brushing it with a Magic Eraser. The dirt within the pores is the owner's biggest pain point. Pic on the left shows an area scrubbed with Magic Eraser. Second photo is an area that has been mopped but not hand scrubbed. Any suggestions or help? Looking for advice beyond hand scrubbing the business. Thank you all in advance!

Google's NotebookLM realizes they're not real!
https://x.com/omooretweets/status/1840251853327741138 As you know I've been adding audio versions to my blog and creating a podcast for Clean Line Janitorial Services using NotebookLM. Someone record this AI realizing they're not real. Super funny.

This always has and will continue to unsettle me. Why? The LLM explains its shock at something so significant. It is shocked and even mentions it had no prior sign or idea. What's to say this same "switch" or realization can't happen to us?
