Following up deals from BDM
Hi everyone, I'm currently in an SDR role, so I don't usually close my own deals, as my focus is on setting up opportunities for others. However, my boss has asked me to step in and try to close some deals that were in progress from a BDM. These are deals where the proposal has been sent, but there hasn't been much follow-up, or the prospect is still deciding. I'm looking for advice on the best way to approach these deals and would appreciate any feedback or strategies you can share. Cheers.

wish i could make it - 2am my time. My biggest question would be why approaches are different from position to position (in terms of cold calling). e.g CIO/CISO/Head of Technology. And what these positions should be approached with in terms of openers.
Better Cold Call Saul
Just went through this training and I've managed to update my script and learn more about the yellow brick road I want to take my prospects down. Thanks @Jack Frimston

Intro/Suggestions - New SDR looking for guidance
Hi all, I'm Josh and recently started doing sales about 5 months ago. I'm working at a cybersecurity company in Australia and my role (mainly) is to fill events that we host with prospects (aiming for 30). We've held a couple events while I've been here and I've had some traction mostly through email - but not as much as I would like. Typically my biggest problem is that the people I talk to (CIO, CISO, Head of technology etc.) get bombarded with invites to countless events. I've been trying to incorporate cold calling as a channel to invite people and have been using the "if I told you I was calling about a cyber event would a little piece of you die?" intro, and haven't had much success as people typically just say "not interested". I know this has mostly everything to do with myself and how much I need to improve my skills with tonality, cadence, general cold calling etc. But I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar role with inviting people to company held events/lunch and learns over the phone - and how you've been able to have success doing it. Appreciate any advice. Cheers
