Make Your Discovery Calls Intentional
Don’t dismiss the power of a personal conversation. Sending out links to sales pages amid well-thought out campaigns can certainly work wonders for sales but it’s that personal conversation that allows you, the coach, to really get to know a prospect. In turn, that same prospect can learn more about your personality and values simply by listening to your delivery and how well you will fill her needs. This is the power of the discovery call. Discovery calls are important for onboarding a new coaching client or for interviewing potential members of a mastermind group or other paid program you have developed. Programs which command a higher price tag are meant for prospects who have earned a certain level of income or years of experience in their own business. Placing a newbie who just started their business with other more advanced and experienced owners is asking for trouble and disconnect, no matter how motivated that newbie may be. How do you discover these things? Through discovery calls. If you’ve never held a discovery call, no worries. You’ll have a plan for handling these calls before the weekend is over. If you’ve already had your share of discovery calls, you’ll still find new ways of handling these calls so you can qualify your prospects with more accuracy and sway their purchasing decisions more frequently. I’ll take you through the process of choosing a lead magnet, how to pre-screen prospects, how to take control of these discovery calls, and how to automate the process so you have more time for work. Take some time to really work the exercises and you’ll be in good shape to proceed with putting this process into place. Let’s get started! Comment Below if you would like this training & worksheet!

Love it! I have mixed feelings about discovery calls, some say it's good to offer, some say only do calls with serious potential clients that may pay, some say don't offer them at all, some even say no sales calls. I think for where I'm at that though, with my current offers, and my personality that discovery calls make senses. I do like to connect with people. so for sure any tools in your toolbox would be amazing here

@Suzanne Taylor-King yup! yes!
Are you connecting with your referral pod? Just connected with another of mine.
Well @Suzanne Taylor-King, you are definitely assembling and putting together some awesome individuals. For those who haven't yet begun connecting with their referral pod, I highly recommend it. Suzanne has really brought together amazing individuals. Just connected with @Troy Siewert and it's amazing that such different brands and services can have the same underlying values and principles. Whether it's training individuals for crisis intervention or guiding individuals to energetically align with their true selves... It's all about creating transformative experiences, the importance of presence, intention, and serving from a place of genuine care and understanding. Service is service. It was also cool that we are both diving deeper into the process and the outcomes that we offer individuals, trusting and knowing that will attract the right people... rather than focusing too much on the traditional "niching down." It was great connecting with you Troy, and I look forward to supporting each other!

@Else Johnson Hey! Let's do it
Great Accountability Call with Troy today!
After the Path to 100K on Tuesday, @Suzanne Taylor-King had suggested getting an accountability partner to support us through the course. @Troy Siewert and I connected and are now keeping each of us on track. I gave full permission to Troy to call me out on the BS and we have planned a Monday "plan for the week" and a Friday "update from the week." I am so excited for this course and this community.

A Pleasure To Connect with Lindsay Hack and a Shoutout to STK
I wanted to give a shout out to @Lindsay Hack after our fun and chatty connection call. We both also found it fascinating that @Suzanne Taylor-King has this amazing ability to attract and connect with very authentic individuals, and then connects those individuals with each other. We compared other networking groups, and agreed that what STK has created here is truly refreshing. You can actually are with people who know that connection and getting to know each other is what it's all about. (no secret agendas or hidden pitches) So a shout out to Suzanne for creating this amazing community where we can connect with entrepreneurs and visionaries that "get it." A little bit more about myself and Lindsay, we vibed over having two daughters who are about two years apart in age. (though her daughters are about a decade older than mine) We also both have this life experience of being Western expats living in different countries than we grew up in - Lindsay in Mexico and myself in Thailand. We're also both passionate about parenting and healthy family dynamics, which also contributes to better business dynamics, because everything begins with your core nuclear family. I look forward to getting to know Lindsay even more and connecting with other awesome individuals who know their passions, talk openly about them, and weave them into conversations effortlessly... whether about family, living abroad, or unique business services. I'm all for it! And women in business over 40 who know they should be living more fit and more healthy, I now know that's what Lindsay is all about. Keep the connections coming!
