New MRR / MRR with Yearly Payment?
If people join a skool community for 5k a year, will the new MRR go up to 5k or will it divide by 12? Or is it even counting as MRR? Can you win the skool games with just offering the yearly option? How does it work?

The MRR is divided by the 12 months, I’m pretty sure most of the Skool games winners offer monthly but it can definitely be done offering just annual too :)
The Quick 1 Time Change That Tripled Audience Conversion
A few weeks ago I seen a post from Kirby talking about the importance of your profile How your profile comes across is key when members are deciding wether they follow you or click the link in your bio We've went from averaging 4 group joins per day to no 11 per day with the sole change being profile appearance 1. Profile picture See all them profile pictures with rings around the outside? Personally I had no idea why people did this but now it all makes sense If somebody is scrolling through a group or looking through their feed they're seeing 100s of accounts We need a way to standout and so a ring around the profile picture is a great way to grab attention If you can combine this with a friendly and professional looking headshot you've got a killer profile picture Also, using the same profile picture for every platform is a great way to become more recognisable 2. Followers + Following Over on Instagram I had 700 followers yet was following over 2000 😬 When a potential customer sees this it could be very off putting Any authority that I might have built up through content might be at risk Keeping the relationship between these two stats healthy is step 2 to a converting profile Bonus tip: Instagram lets you follow 200 people at a time, find an account in your niche follow 200 people that liked their posts and wait. You'll probably get anywhere from 30 - 50 follows back and you can then unfollow these 200 😅 cheeky I know 3. A clear and concise bio We want to make it as easy as possible for people to see who we are targeting Personally the structure I have went for with my bio is this LINE 1: Call out who you help LINE 2: A unique mechanism, what's different about you and your method LINE 3: Build authority + CTA - Why should people listen to you? I'll leave my bio below as an example, it's not perfect but has definitely helped a lot with conversion 🙂

Membership Questions Adding Friction?
I've been on Skool for nearly 3 months now but have never asked membership questions when people join my group The reason is simply that when I first started I thought even 2 or 3 questions may add that tiny friction that causes some members not to join Am I wrong on this 1? If so, what questions do you typically ask members?

Struggling To Get Members To Book Calls ❓
So around a month ago we were averaging 20 group joins per week. Of the 20 that joined only 1 would book a call (on average). Of course this is quite a horrifying conversion rate so it got me thinking what we could do to change this. After implementing the 3 steps below we now average 5 call bookings for the same 20 joins per week. 1. 'Start Here' Section Originally we just had a pinned post that would tell people to book a call + why they should. Whilst this is effective, members may simply not see the post, or they might not check the community tab out. Adding a 'Start Here' course in the classroom on top of this post was massively helpful. Often when members join the community the first place they go is the classroom as they want to learn. And so the thinking is that many more people are seeing the start here section as opposed to a pinned post. 2. Locking content until they book a call Hormozi has spoken about this recently and it's been really helpful. Locking content until members book gives them yet another incentive to book a call. The more reasons we could stack for people to book calls then of course the more we would get. 3. DMs This is where the biggest difference has been made. I would always DM people encouraging them to book on. But if they didn't reply I'd simply leave them be and not follow up. People just forget and the amount of times I've followed up after being ghosted and people have booked is crazy. Sending a meme (See Below) is a great way of making it not feel too salesy too.

YouTube Shorts 🧐
In one of Hormozi's recent videos he discusses how of all the platforms he posts short form content YT shorts has by far the highest average watch time. This got me thinking about how many of my group members have came from YT shorts over the past 2 months... We've always posted shorts but we would simply optimise for Instagram and then post the exact same clips over on shorts so we weren't 'leaving views on the table'. After looking over our stats for shorts we realised that the spikes in views also coincided with the spikes we had in group joins. Now there are many different factors that could have affected this and I'm not saying this was solely the result of YT shorts, but it's definitely something I'm going to think about more often moving forward. Have you been using YouTube shorts as a way to grow your Skool?
