The call went better than expected. It was minor changes to the contract language for small things such as changing the 60 day cancellation back to 30 days and specifying that if we are unable to clean on a Holiday, we will clean the day before or after. Going to update and he informed that he would sign. So fingers crossed. Expected clean date is 12/15. I have also started to interview some candidates for the role and I definitely understand @Avi Arturovi's concerns with the hiring. Most people are not reading the job description or they just don't have the criteria I am necessarily looking for to be dependable, resourceful, attentive to detail, etc. So fingers crossed I find someone. Also, I looked into Fiverr for assistance with creating lead contact list. It cost 18.83 so waiting to see what the final product will look like.

@Avi Arturovi Yes. I gave him a copy of my spreadsheet so that he does not duplicate and he stated it would be 100 leads. So once the final product is completed, I will let you know if it was worth it or not.
I need a partner??!
Do any of you have a business partner? What does that partnership look like? I am considering getting one or possibly seeking someone who would act as a COO and help me gain clients and run the business, and a percentage of profit. Let me know thoughts.

@Anthony Fabricatore can you explain a little more into you using an associate to do a site tour. Are they a W2 or just a contractor you ask to do walkthroughs in behalf of your business. Right now, I am okay to do walk throughs but that would be a plus to have in the future for scaling. I was thinking of having the team leads conduct walk through if it is in their area.

Thank you for this feedback. I will definitely update but glad it is a good starting point.
Residential Post-Construction Cleaning - client says too expensive
Hello, I have a referral for a residential post-construction cleaning client. After submitting my bid—which included post-construction cleaning, internal and external window cleaning, and power washing a 300 sq. ft. area near the pool—the client said my quote was too high. He believes the job should take no more than a day to a day and a half, noting that the interior is mostly clean and that the primary focus is on the windows. His suggested budget is less than half of what I originally quoted. He also mentioned that after final fixes, the painters, floor finishers, and plumbers would clean up after themselves. He offered to send photos for a revised quote instead of having me visit the property again, as it’s about an hour away. I’m hesitant to rely solely on pictures, as I don't want to commit to a quote without a clear understanding of the actual workload. Additionally, I’m uncomfortable with the client estimating how long the job should take, as it may not be accurate. If I do proceed with a quote based on photos, I’m considering including a clause that states the price is subject to change after an in-person inspection. Any thoughts or recommendations on how to navigate this?

What did you end up doing @Avi Arturovi
How would you price this??
https://docs.google.com/document/d/16GP55jdrpS_pO8bM8T9cENlF21rEhUz0p61mUqLdDvk/edit Let’s do a test run of pricing. I’ll start with a real client, complete with pictures. It’s 12,000 sqft cleaned 6x/week. What would YOU price it at? Provide in an answer: 1. Your rate per month 2. Total estimated hours 3. Breakdown by percentages of labor, supplies, and gross profit. For example we typically aim for 65% labor, 2% supplies, and 33% gross profit.  Share publicly (or in private): Thanksgiving weekend I’ll share the rate.

Based on the photos, high rise ceilings, and the supplies in some of the areas, I would provide the following information: Rate per month: 3,325 dollars Total Estimated Hours: 4 Labor: 65% Supplies: 2% gross profit: 30%
