1 kettlebell, 300 reps…
Hello Team, I got this workout off Instagram, it was a fun one. Why not it give it a go? All you need is one kettlebell (or a dumbbell I guess would work) Essentially it’s: 4 rounds of thrusters, press ups and clean and press. Decreasing reps from 40, 30, 20, 10 For time Original video / full credit here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DAGk9FbNugx/?igsh=d2p2dzZzOHBuejBv

Nice one. I went for 35mins again myself today (4 runs in 5days), I had taken a break from running recently, so I’m now getting back into it and getting over the hump of it being really hard, to actually enjoyable. A coach once told me if every run is hard you are doing it wrong. I think there is something in that. 8miles though!! Great effort 🤜 💥 🤛

I enjoy running when I do it regularly, and since I learned how to run better. I enjoy it less when I haven’t run for a while and then try to start again. I use the NRC app and their guided runs - like having a coach in your ear talking about pace, form, effort, intervals, mindset, headspace etc etc.
Good Morning Team!
So, it’s Friday, and as we head into the weekend, let’s think about what you have done this week that has served you and your long term goals… Could be a step could, could be drinking water, getting to bed on time… working out in the Gym…. What we saying!?!?

Hyrox
I have signed up to do the Men’s doubles on the Sunday in Birmingham. Myself and partner have never done a Hyrox event before. What can we expect and what would be a reasonable finish time?

Great choice!! You can expect an epic environment, cheeky workout and awesome day out!! Average mixed doubles time I think is around 1hour 25 - 1 hour 30. But is it’s your first one I would say don’t worry about time just have fun 🤩

@Thomas Allen sorry pal, I misread your post. Men’s doubles average is more like 1hr 20mins. This is a decent enough article for a start point and some tips https://theprogrm.com/what-is-a-good-hyrox-time/
Hey, New boy!
I'm here because I believe in Tom and know he can keep me accountable and get me back to my best. I have done my fair share of triathlons, marathons and ironman but I have lost the motivation to stay on it. Here's to getting back to my best and you lot keeping me honest. 🫶🏻🤟🏼🤙🏼
