Teeth Sensitivity
I've been a once a day teeth brusher and on rare occasion do I floss. With eating so much fruit I noticed a couple of my front teeth hurt when I brushed them. I got a kit on Amazon that is a Cement Dental Care Kit where you mix powder and liquid and apply to sensitive teeth areas (many teeth issue uses) and it was effective and is suppose to last around a month or so but now that I have the $40 kit I'm just going to keep using that instead of going to the Dentist to get potential fillings. Anyhow, I think brushing my teeth when I get up out of bed then eating fruit and veggies 4 meals a day then when I get home from work I'll just go to bed instead of brushing teeth. Now I've learned to brush my teeth before bedtime too. Prior to going raw vegan 80 10 10 I haven't had such issues but I think perhaps the sugars in the fruit and leaving it on them for extended periods of time is causing this sensitivity. Has anyone else had any dental issues or concerns happen when on 80 10 10 raw vegan?

Oh yes, me! I lost a lot of teeth. My dentist wasn't satisfied at all. I also had plaque. Later I learned that has to do with gut flora. It's one long digestion tube from your mouth to your anus. Bacteria travel. Also when you're asleep. And in the beginning the bacteria change a lot from the old ones. And the fruit diet starts a cleansing process inside you. With consequences for your teeth. But after doing 3 colonics my dentist was happy again and I didn't feel that plaque anymore. It is also important to breathe through your nose at night. Because a dry, open mouth is bad for teeth. You can tape your mouth shut with a piece of tape.
Breathing Issues
I have allergies every year and this year I decided to hold off on taking steroid progesterone for about a month then I took the 5 day regiment given by Doctor and it did not help at all. I know they are anti life drugs but when you have trouble breathing quality of life declines so I did what wad available that I knew of. Anyhow, I have trouble getting in full breath Doctor said oxygen level is 97% so they didn't think I needed an inhaler. It is like deep in my diaphragm I cannot get that full breath but only partial. Sometimes can get full breath but not often. I know that this way of eating is the best I've ever had and no way am I throwing in the towel I wanted to ask if anyone in the community dealt with breathing issues which may be due to the changes in digestion and diet? Curious if anyone has any ideas about how to get some relief?

@Derek Crans As a rule I don't sprout Derek. But sometimes I crave them and then I love to grow sunflower microgreens. Those are the tastiest, in my opinion. They taste like nuts. And I may also do fenugreek sprouts and sometimes even broccoli. But just in the evening with the salad.

@Derek Crans No. The 80/10/10 book doesn't sprout at all. It says just eat tender leafy greens. Lettuces. Young spinach. That's it. No kale. No watercress. No sprouts. No wheatgrass. No dandelion greens. No endive. But for food ideas, ideas of what to eat, go to YouTube. Type: Foodnsport and look for video's of Tom Avery and what he eats in a day.
Diagnosis - EPI -- Prescription: Fruitarianism!
One of the things that brought me back to 100% raw fruit based this year was my worsening gut issues. I have celiac, and despite scrupulously avoiding gluten for decades, I still have problems (pain, bloating, flare-ups of diarrhea -- pretty much the entirety of 2023 was a diarrhea flare-up; I got down to bmi 12 at one point). I've avoided fat forever because it makes things worse, and I have to be very careful with leaves and veg. Just learned that I have severe EPI - exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. No pancreatic digestive enzymes, so no wonder! And no wonder I feel so much better eating fruit -- no enzymes needed! The medication for this condition is porcine based; as a Jewish vegan there's no way in heaven I'm going to take that! So fruit is right, right?!

@Ela Harrison Oh, there's much more to say. Perhaps even skip the acidic fruits for a while. No citrusses, pineapple, kiwi. Just sweet, soft fruits - perhaps even without their skins - if you're truely bad. But I guess you don't have to be that strict. You can feel it yourself. Bananas and papaya's are great. Soft, ripe pears. Apples. Figs and dates.

Oh, that's quite a story there. And you can feel very well what your body wants or doesn't want. It's the same here. Had a period when I devoured a bag of watercress a day, for some reason. And after that came peppermint. But it all passes. I hope you can find your way back to many kinds of fruits!

@Sharona Vainberg Yes, that cold is a problem. It slows your digestion down, and if you have gallstones they can get stuck in the ducts they're in, because of the cold. But I guess in summer, a small ninecream eaten slowly can be no problem.
Which fruits do you enjoy in the autumn time?
I can’t wait for persimmon season, just the thought makes my mouth water😆 I live in the UK, so grapes and bananas are always a staple year round. How about you, what are your go to fruits this time of year?

I live in the Netherlands. I think orange with pomegranates, juiced is delicious. Grapefruit. Persimmons.
