Consistency Over Perfection: Why You Donโ€™t Need a Perfect Product to Win
Perfectionism is paralysing for many entrepreneurs who delay launches or new initiatives because they believe everything must be flawless. We have covered this in this community at great length. The Hormozis & Alexi often stress the importance of taking action and iterating along the way, rather than waiting for everything to be perfect . They share that consistent effort and refining the process as you go, rather than launching the โ€œperfectโ€ version of a product is key. If this resonates with you please Get involved feel free to share something you launched before it was "perfect" and the lessons you learned from it. Context: this is an extract from my notes, Iโ€™m currently doing a sprint implementing ( the rule of 100) as taught in this community.

IMO, perfectionism is overrated. I like how success has shifted from โ€œget everything perfectโ€ to โ€œgo out and figure it out.โ€ For me, perfectionism was just an excuse not to start. But once I got into sales, it stopped mattering. Now, I focus on trying things, then adjusting based on feedback. Kinda love failing ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

๐Ÿ’ƒ The Woman in the Red Dress: Alex Hormoziโ€™s Lesson from The Matrix
Alex Hormozi tells a powerful story from The Matrix that perfectly illustrates the importance of focus in business. Every day, we face new opportunities. The bigger you get, the bigger the opportunities. And the harder it is to say no. ๐Ÿšซ In the story, Neo is walking through a crowded street with Morpheus. Suddenly, Neo notices a woman in a red dress and his head turns. ๐Ÿ”ด Morpheus asks, โ€œWere you listening, Neo? Or were you looking at the woman in the red dress?โ€ When Neo looks back, the woman is goneโ€”replaced by Agent Smith pointing a gun at his head. ๐ŸŽฏ Hereโ€™s the lesson: In business, distractions often appear as shiny opportunities. ๐ŸŒŸ The higher you climb, the more attractive these distractions become โ€”the woman in the red dress. ๐Ÿ’ƒ At every level of success, you must learn to say โ€œnoโ€ again and again. Alex used to think that once I learned this skill, Iโ€™d be done. But the truth is, the woman in the red dress keeps coming backโ€”each time, more enticing than before. Success isnโ€™t just about innovation; itโ€™s about consistently doing what you should be doing, even when distractions try to pull you away. ๐Ÿ’ก Focus is your superpower. ๐Ÿ”ฅ https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7251657559374274560/ P.S. Whatโ€™s your biggest distraction in business? Comment below. ๐Ÿ‘‡

This is so on par to how my journey began- when I first was introduced to sales, I kept using YouTube university, clicking on ads, and signing up to webinars that I thought was going to โ€œteachโ€ me how to sell. In fact, they did the complete opposite. This was before Iโ€™ve spent close to 10k (on junk), that shifted my focus from what was ACTUALLY working (I was avg 4 closed deals per month- this was in wholesaling RE), to set up my tracking track around one โ€œclosingโ€ line, or these complicated ebbs and flow that didnโ€™t add any value to me or the homeowners. After watching some videos from both Leila and Alex- and consulting with my manager at the time, I doubled down on my previous scripts/talking track and everything just fell into place. Simplicity and focus is one hell of thing, Iโ€™ve seen insane growth from this lesson!

@Alexi Drouin completely agree! Iโ€™m signed up to multiple news letters but theyโ€™re focused on one thing- advertising. Although I donโ€™t tend to apply everything Iโ€™ve learned thus far- there are plenty of benefits of knowing what others are doing- whatโ€™s working or isnโ€™t working for them. Thereโ€™s a saying I really like; โ€œa wise man can entertain multiple ideas, without being seduced by themโ€.. or something along those lines ๐Ÿ˜…
โ“ How would you structure a curriculum to fulfill the grand vision?
Leila Hormozi envisages an acquisition.com school as part of her grand vision for business education. Consider this goal and propose a structure for a curriculum that aligns with this vision. What key subjects and practical experiences would you include to ensure comprehensive business education? Keep your proposal between 25 to 100 words. Hey everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm Roger and I am from Florida. Right now, I'm working as an appointment setter for a top of funnel marketing agency. And being in sales over the years -- starting out with wholesaling real estate and now diving into B2B sales, working directly with clients. It's been an incredible journey so far, but Alex, Leila, and now Skool, have definitely proven to me that there's greater opportunities waiting on me to take them on! So, given the itch to challenge myself and get this started, I felt creating a marketing agency was a no-brainer! I am going live this November, currently working on content and setting up my funnel. Once that's done, I'll be switching on my ads and GRINDING towards that $3M EBITDA Acquisition.com looks for ๐Ÿ˜‚ But before all that, Iโ€™m focused on improving my copywriting skills- I want to improve so it'll translate to digestible and consumable content, newsletter, ad Copy, etc.. If youโ€™re reading this and have experience with copy for newsletters, email marketing, or blogs, donโ€™t hesitate to reach outโ€”Iโ€™d love to connect! Overall, Iโ€™m so excited (and a bit intimidated) about starting this journey... but I know itโ€™s going to be damn gooooood! On another notes, there's a quote Iโ€™d love to share with everyone that has really stuck with me and helps me believe that anything is achievable. Itโ€™s a simple one from Napoleon Hill: 'Whatever the brain conceives and believes, it can achieve.' Happy Hunting everyone!! โœŠ

@Marcin Pฤ™ksa Marcin, i've been there! roughly 3 years ago, I started my own full-service marketing agency and Linkedin was one of the channels I used to get prospects. I used a cheap software called Duxsoup and was able to automate my outreach, I highly recommend it. you stack that with Sales Nav, and you'll be unstoppable! shoot me a message, I'd love to share my experience with both.
