Habit [30 days of ME - Day 24]
Is the practice of adding ME time to your day starting to feel like a habit? New habits usually require 21- 66 days to begin to break or begin to form (from 18 days to 254 days) and about 2-3 months to take hold depending on complexity. It will probably take anywhere from 6-12 months to build a new behavior pattern into your life. Start incrementally at first and build as you go. Stay consistent and continue with persistence. Don’t get discouraged if you can’t keep a perfect record day after day, just get back on track and keep at it. Like a muscle willpower gets fatigued as you use it. Be prepared. Manage your expectations and commit to following through. Start small: 》Drink a glass of water on waking 》Do toe raises while toothbrushing 》Don't eat after 7 pm 》Say "thank you" to and make eye contact with every cashier Today decide on one small action to integrate into your every day and make a habit.
