‘Ello, talented filmmakers! I’m Sabrina Federhofer, a writer and director based in South Florida! I just joined this community and read through the posts. I love seeing how active everyone is talking about film and sharing the projects they are working on. This is so cool! If you don’t know me, I just graduated from MDC’s Film bachelor’s program this Spring 2024. I pursued film after growing up loving all art, from guitar playing to origami to poetry. Because of that, I love working in art department when I’m not leading a project. When I’m not on set, I am a freelance graphic designer, motion graphics artist and video editor. Through all these artistic endeavors, my goal remains to write and craft stories that people from all walks of life can relate to, be inspired by and find escapism in. As a superhero fanatic and a DC comics fan, I have been absolutely devastated with the latest news regarding every Dc property being a total dumpster fire from critics. I am in shock with the final decisions Warner brothers keeps implementing with the Dc property movies just to match or compete with an already established universe like Marvel. With James Gunn now running full speed ahead claiming Superman is the beginning of the new Dc Cinematic universe I am now both extremely exited but tearfully horrified with how my favorite characters will be showcased to the world. It’s clearly a hit or miss within Warner Bros and I’m angrily annoyed with how they’ve been ruining fan favorite characters just for a petty cash grab. In any case, if you see Joker 2 please watch it and give a spoiler free review and where you think Warner Bros is messing up and why you think Marvel is surpassing.
