Who are amongst the best when it come to distance control?

@Alessio Nicolai what level of bjj would be enough for mma? Blue belt enough?

Thanks for responding guys, I was wondering because I watched an interview where Craig jones was saying bjj is useless in mma and I didn't really understood why except if someone starts ground and pounding
