Do Vitamen C and supplements affect readings on keto mojo meter when having OMD protocol with low carb and more fat and protein diet
I have been on OMD low carb (50 gm) diet and my glucose levels are in the range of 87 to 94 while keto remain under 0.5 (sometime 0.3, 0.6 etc ) . During my 3 days water fast I checked my GIK. My sugar was same as above - 94 but my ketones reading went up to 3.4 and GIK evaluated was 1.17. Question : during my OMD , why my readings if ketones are under 0.5 ?? Because of Vitamen C and other supplements??? Please advice

@Mustafa Jivanjee Do share your daily macro ratios. Fat / Protein / Carbs in grams. A slight re-adjustment of your macro ratios may help improve your results.

@Mustafa Jivanjee Do your best to get Fats to 75% - 85% of the total grams you consume. @Joseph Lackland is right about 50g of Carbs being too high and you should limit it to less than 20g. You can add MCT and butter to coffee or salads to help boost your Fat intake.

@Kimberly Smith Good information. Thank you 👍
Who's had documented success on press-pulse?
Who are the folks who've done Seyfried's press-pulse protocol and have successfully managed , or are currently successfully managing, their tumor growth. I only know of Guy Tenenbaum and Owen Hemsath. These two have documented success, as far as I can tell. Correct me if I'm mistaken. Any others?

@Rioghnach O'Leary 😔 That's really sad😢
Press pulse experiences
How many people here have had positive results or got to NED from press pulse therapy? Please share your story and details/how many cycles you have done, what was dosage of D, and what the scans showed. If you have had no results or negative results please share as well as I think that experience is equally valuable for people to learn from.

@Rajan Khanijaon I have completed my standard RT and RAI treatments by mid-2023. After these treatments my thyroglobulin serum was at 20 ng/mL in October 2023. I declined to do any further RAI treatments as I was facing multiple side-effects due to the repeated radiation therapies. My oncology team cautioned that without further RAI treatment, there is a strong possibility that the cancer would metastasize to other parts of my body.They are of the opinion that there is no way I can lower my thyroglobulin levels without RAI. I resisted and told my oncology team that I am following a Therapeutic Ketogenic Diet designed for cancer. They acknowledged my decision and agree to continue monitoring my condition but will not assist. Below are my thyroglobulin serum readings starting from December 2023. 1. 15/12/2023 - 13.9 ng/mL 2. 10/03/2024 - 11.5 ng/mL 3. 13/06/2024 - 9.5 ng/mL 4. 09/09/2024 - 8/1 ng/mL My routine includes 16/8 intermittent fasting, mebendazole, melatonin, berberine, quercetin,and MCT. I had HBOT initially 5 times a week 90 mins at 2.4 ATA, moving forward I will be doing 3 sessions a week (on alternative days) and on alternative weeks. My oncology team would not comment on the lowering thyroglobulin serum readings. I have my next CT scan on the 10/12/2024. It will determine the metabolic activity of the cancer and how much of it remains.

Hey all, just wanted to say hi. I just came across this community abou a week ago when I saw one of Jason's interview with Dom on YouTube. And wow, lots of good info. So just wanted to introduce myself. I was diagnosed in June with Mucosal Melanoma. Had radiation and now have a PET scan coming up in November. I'm currently doing Keto but still have higher glucose numbers, so trying to get that dialed in. I have some MBZ on it's way but just learning that I didn't quite get enough of a dose, so going to get that upped. Anyway, great community and I look forward to learning all I can.
