I actually didn't mind my last job I left. Pretty decent co-workers, workspace was very nice, great benefits, fine work.

This is skool's shortcoming and I feel sorry for it
- Everything was fine until I saw the approval feature hindering customers from accessing Skool - I have tested that if it is Public, everyone can access it and do not need to create an account - If it's Privite, everyone who comes in has to wait for approval - Why doesn't Skool create a feature where you just need to Join Group and you can join right away? - If there is a help feature, I can make it public, but if I have not joined the group, I cannot view the course content - The limitation here is: My customers have free time, but when they join the group and have to wait for approval, they cannot experience the content immediately. - But if I make it public, they can access it very easily without having to leave an email - And if I run ads to bring traffic to skool, I'm tired of browsing members and it takes a lot of time, as well as making the member experience wait. - If I leave it public like I just said, they won't need to create an account if they come in Does anyone have the same opinion as me? Skool Team will consider and add the PUBLIC feature for members who have an Account and Click to join the Group.

@Mạnh Nguyễn Official I definitely am not a fan of the public option. But, do you have data to back that allowing anyone to sign up would actually increase your sales? Usually lead based businesses survive off of quality leads. Quantity normally doesn’t beat quality. Unless you have a system so automatic where you don’t even need to talk to anyone at any point, more members means more time investment, no?

@Mạnh Nguyễn Official yeah in that case I agree with you. Itd be better to just let whoever wants in, in. Since there’s no extra investment on your end to have them. Def think they should atleast just add the option either way since it doesn’t hurt anyone for the most part.
RECORDING PLATFORMS ?
Im finding that loom sucks.. I doesn't seem to work well for me. Uploading after recording takes forever, its glitchy and i just am not having the greatest experience. Any other suggestions or recommendations?

@David Saldivar Yeah, so what you'd have to do is record a video. It gets saved directly onto your computer (Unlike Loom which it gets saved onto a server and you get a link right away for it). Then you'd just upload it to Wistia, or Loom or Youtube from there. That platform creates a link when its done. And boom. Share that link on Skool. Adds an extra step I suppose but, if Loom isnt working then.. guess not much of a choice.

@David Saldivar Sometimes I can edit things on Loom like trim & cut. Sometimes it just doesnt work lol. I dont even bother nowadays. I just download the video and use Adobes products to edit since their built for that.
mute notifications from people you follow (only from certain groups)
hey guys a feature would be not getting notified from certain groups. Reason being is people who you might follow post the same post in different groups, and getting multiple notifications of the same thing is annoying. But unfollowing someone you want to keep an eye is too much. same for leaving a group like the skool community...

@Lluis Zardoya LMAO yeah thats pretty fair. I don't even look at all of those things up there at this point. I literally just look at DMs & scroll through. Even if I attempted to clean out the notifs, they'd just get messy instantly & I'd only really care about 25% of the notifications so, Cant be bothered anymore. Sorry for adding 1 more to your bell though here 😅
Emailing Members
I’m trying to figure out that best way to communicate via email with my Skool members. My goal is to bring them into the conversation and classroom more frequently. How do you email your Skool members? Comment below with why if you don’t mind as well.

I used GoHighLevel or Emailoctopus for bulk email campaigns. But I also use the 3-day max email Skool has. EmailOcto I use the free version. Not sure what limits it has but I can send emails without problems. GoHighLevel I have the highest tier, but I think you can still use the email with the lowest tier which is like $97/month I believe.

@Sybil Hall So when members join they get put into an email drip that sends out a welcome email & welcome text via GHL. Then GHL sends a auto-drip email campaign every day for the next 4 days just giving value, tips about the topic, tools they can use, etc etc. And then I use Emailoctopus to basically send out any spur of the moment or new emails which I normally do once a week. And then sometimes I make a skool post that I boost using the email 3-day thing!
