Today I had an impromptu walk to the local coffee shop with a friend. I ordered an almond milk latte (knowing their almond milk is the sugar free variety). The server misheard me and I was handed a caramel latte. Not wanting to say anything because my friend had paid, I took my drink and said my goodbye for the walk back.
I drank a third of it and thought, you know what I'm done, that's enough. So handed it over to my husband when I walked in the house - who loves that sort of drink.
The fact I a) felt done and b) just gave it away feels amazing.
I remember when I did a big sugar reset a five or so years ago, I became not bothered by sweet stuff. It had become so hard the last couple of years as I've eaten more sugar again. The fact this changed to being easier within just a few days is awesome!
Does anyone else have wins from this week?
