Eager to learn tips on gaining speed and endurance
Hello, my name is Maribel and I’ve been consistently running for the last few years after not doing so for about 10. Im looking forward to soaking up as much information as I can to be a better runner. Some of my goals is to work on my speed and endurance to be able to run longer miles. Any advice or just help in general is appreciated!

Are there anyone in the group who runs with a run/walk interval?
Hello, I'm Pam, I have been running for 9 years and didn't start until I was 50. I developed a breathing issue due to a virus and now run with walk intervals. Does anyone else in the group run this way? Also, how would you conduct the run test for your heart rate running this way? Thanks, Pam

I'm intrigued with the 9 miler way
Hi. I'm Paul, ive been running for 20 plus years now for general mental and physical fitness. I have taken part in several marathons and many half's. Folloing a rough couple of years I'm ready to get back to it, to become better and stronger than before. With an overall focus on trying to improve on my marathon time of 4 hours 13 to hopefully a sub 4 with the help and support of the 9 milers. I wish you all well and good luck with your training Paul

Old Dog Looking for New Tricks
Hi. I'm Tom Crochunis. I've been running for over 50 years...since middle school. These days, I'm assistant coaching cross country at a local high school and looking to run my first marathon. (Yes, all those years of running and racing and never yet run a marathon.) I enjoy running immensely...it's one of my main forms of self-care...but I also want to learn to run smarter in ways that will help me accomplish my goal of running marathons. And as a coach, I love learning new ways to enjoy the sport of running and to improve. I look forward to learning from those of you in the community.

Finish your marathons strong, over and over again, get fitter & stronger, WITHOUT those endless long and slow 18+ mile training runs.
