Motorbikes and Scooters Thread
I have watched extensive YouTube videos from Tigit Motorbikes and John states that Honda is best overall. Semi automatic is cheap to buy and cheap to fix and repair. The Honda Blade Is the best overall bike to tour all of Vietnam. It is the cheapest (about $1,000 USD) and most reliable bike. “you can wheelie it, jump it, and there’s no terrain the Blade can’t do.” John states that the Blade is, “Bulletproof and indestructible. It can carry two people and luggage across any mountain road in Vietnam. It is easy to fix, cheap to fix and fast to fix. Any shop in Vietnam can fix a Blade.” John toured the entire northwest area of Vietnam on a Honda Blade. It is a 110 cc, semi automatic, 8.5 hp, can cruise 60 mph, top speed 110 KPH (68 mph). Note: Mind the speed limits in Vietnam or you will pay the price.

Road trip from Airport to Da Nang
Hi legend's, I'm planning on moving to Da Nang next year but myself and a mate want to fly in to somewhere else in Vietnam and road trip it for 2 or so weeks to Da Nang. Any recommendations where to fly into and routes etc would be appreciated! Cheers 🍻

Hidden Gems in Northern Vietnam
Sapa, Ha Giang, and Ha Long Bay are three really popular tourist areas that have been highly damaged by the recent typhoon that hit Northern Vietnam. Although I’m sure these areas will bounce back quickly this is an opportunity to consider some other equally amazing but less touristy areas in the north of Vietnam. Mu Cang Chai - possibly the most stunning rice terraces in the country. Pu Luong - Rice terraces and amazing small village vibe. Ta Xua - Epic panoramic mountain views. All three areas are developed with plenty of comfortable options to stay ranging from Local Homestays to Luxury hotels. Much less tourism and a more authentic Vietnamese experience. These places are great for more adventurous travel and hiking but can also be a great place to relax and chill out for a few days. I'm considering doing a deep dive on more "off the beaten path" places in Vietnam so let me know if that's something you'd be interested in!
