Found some old woodworking chisels in the workshop. Rusty, chipped. Decide to do some restoration. Never done it before. But so far so good. Used white vinegar to remove the rust i let my sit about 8-9 hours. Now I'm set up with my new sharpening kit. Also using an angle hold jig thingy. As I said I'm new haha. Got 2 done so far and happy with the results considering the starting point. I'm using water on my stones for the metal chips.
Anyone recommend something else? Or does it not matter as long as it unclogs the pores?
