My name is Gerry and live in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I am recently retired and am looking to get back into woodworking. I had done some projects for our house years ago (barristers bookcase, corner cabinet, tabletop dressing mirror). My skills came from a continuing education program at a nearby college. For a number of reasons, I am now moving into smaller project - (hobby, childens toys, boxes), using miniature tools from Proxxon and others. Looking forward to improving my knowledge and widening my skills into other areas. Gerry

Hello I’m Mike. I did wood shop in high school and then I caught the bug a few years ago helping a buddy in his wood shop when he got injured. Anyways I’ve started going pretty hard on woodworking in the last two years or so. I made some signs, a bridge, a hog pen/house, a few tables and stuff. I’m making whatever I can but my ideas are lacking hence me being here. I took a wood carving class and that helped wonders. I’ll post some of my stuff but it’s all amateur and I’m still learning. I’m still figuring things out. See you around!

Hello I'm Si a 50 + year old disabled man from England I was trained as a vehicle fleet technician but had to retire from that about 2 years ago when i had my spinal cord injury i suppose most people would just relax after that but not me I need to keep busy to keep my mind working. I currently run a small print shop Love working with my hands and woodwork. Recently built myself a cnc machine which kept me busy for a while. I have watched that many youtube videos it's unreal my wife says i'm obsessed lol i'm not obsessed I am learning which is the main reason i'm here :)
