Timeless Advice For Creators
Just watched the first part of @Aidan LaBreche’s appearance on a very interesting Podcast episode. These are some key lessons and reminders: - Nothing really sets any of us apart in the sense of our potential. We’re all made equal in that aspect. - The one thing that sets us everybody apart is their story. What they’ve gone through. Your unique story is what guides that potential, and how you create uniquely - Hard times and suffering are good for you. They should exist. If there are no hard times, no suffering, no uncertainty, you’re probably on the wrong path called the Comfort Zone. - Put yourself in situations where you can get lucky. Do the things that broaden you surface area of luck so there’s more chance that something lucky can happen to you. - How to actually broaden your Surface Area of Luck ? First, be willing to do the things others aren’t willing to do . Second, know how to recognize and seize opportunity. This too, is skill that can be learned. - Action Over Perfection. A lot people make the mistake of trying to build the perfect thing before understanding if that thing is desirable, if they’re solving an actual problem. Here’s the link if you want to watch it for yourself, I’ve only covered a minute fraction of the value delivered: https://youtu.be/a5N4mi_9D0w?si=Z8jfI8EcwmDwyA5y Let’s do the thing, let’s stay consistent both in action and reiteration, and great things await. All the luck and courage to everyone.
