Second time ever skating!!
Well I fell on my back once and then went down on my knee but other than that I was able to go around and get some good amount of skating in. That first video I was already ready to get off the ice, I had fun but I do wish there were more opportunities to ice skate or play hockey when I was younger but here’s to keep trying and creaking opportunities for myself to explore my interests.

Thanks for sharing this with us! You can stand on your feet and skate pretty fluently. So for a 2nd time I say that’s nothing but exciting! Would you ever put a stick in your hand play hockey?! Maybe one day?! 🤞👋
Question for Luke
why do you put salt in all your drinks? i saw in one of the day in the life’s you had it in your coffee, smoothie and water and i was wondering why? what are the benefits?

Elio - I don’t have a perfect answer on this as im still studying to the best abilities myself on the relationship with salt and athletic performance. But what I do know is salt AKA Sodium (NA+) is an electrolyte we lose when we sweat. **Sweat = salt. Therefore as an athlete who sweats a lot (and also eats a lot of whole food *whole foods* have less sodium) it helps with the replenishing process of salt nutrients when I sweat on the ice. I’ve also heard the benefits of increasing blood volume (more blood efficient blood flow) and lowering blood pressure. Which if are true are great benefits for endurance performance. Now do I think it’s the end all be all? No getting a good diet is going to help and the basics like training, sleep are bigger factors to great performance. But little small changes here and there may hope over the long run. Still trying to verify these answers with more research and study. As I learn more I will share. Thanks for the question tho!

Workout Programs
I’m trying to find a good workout program to do to help me improve on the ice but I am having troubles finding one. Anyone have any suggestions? I’m working out 2-3 times a week.
