(LIVE) How I Signed 217 Enterprise Clients
This Thursday @ 12 CST I am going to do a live training going over the step-by-step process I used to sign 217 Enterprise Clients ($8K - $20K/month) and scale my agency to $5 Million / Year Weā€™ll cover: - Creating A ā€œNo-Brainerā€ $10K/mo Offer - Building A Funnel To Book Qualified Enterprise Appointments On Demand - Creating A Sales Process That Pre-Handles Objections & Closes 1 Out Of 3 Leads - Retaining & Upselling Enterprise Clients To 12 Month Deals I wonā€™t be holding anything back. Comment ā€œLIVEā€ on this post and Iā€™ll send you the link! ā€”Alex

Did you know your agency will fall apart if you close too many deals?
Thatā€™s exactly what happened to me ā€” I helped scale our agency to $5M by being incredibly good at getting new clients. It felt like such a rush ā€” every day getting new clients through the door, collecting cash and growing our top line revenue. And for the first 2 years, there was nothing wrong with it ā€” things were going great. We scaled past 100k/mo, 200k/m, 300k/mā€¦ But then, it all caught up with me. You see, Iā€™d been told by every agency guru that the key to scaling was getting as many clients as possible, no matter how much they paid or how good I was at delivering the service they were paying for. And that lie is exactly what caused the ship to crash. We reached a point where we had so many clients we couldnā€™t manage it ā€” Then client results started to nosedive, causing every new client we got to end up leaving us after a few months So I spent every day putting out fires and chasing new deals just trying to keep up Until we reached a point where we could no longer manage it and had to sell the agency just to get out from the monster weā€™d created. So if youā€™re watching this, and you have an agency ā€” hereā€™s my advice if you donā€™t want to run into the same problem You have to close deals and get new clients in order to grow But donā€™t buy the same lie I did that all clients and all deals are good Be selective. Only bring on clients you are certain you can deliver for. And donā€™t cut cheap deals just to get people through the door. This will make it more difficult for you to close deals in the short term But it is the only way your agency will be able to sustain and scale long term.

How I Landed My First 10K/m Client
I was absolutely terrified to pitch my first 10K/month offerā€¦ then they said yes. It was January 2022 and I was DROWNING in a sea of 3K-5K/mo clients. To everyone else, it looked like our agency was crushing it: Getting a new office, hiring employees, closing dozens of deals every monthā€¦ But what they couldnā€™t see was that I was barely keeping my head above water. I bought the lie that ā€˜more clients is betterā€™ When in reality, more clients was actually killing my agency. All these little clients were like hungry fish demanding all our time and energy. Our team was stretched thin. The margins were almost non-existent. I was tired, frustrated and unsure if it was even worth it to keep going. I knew something had to change. I wanted to close bigger deals and work with larger clientsā€¦ Those that would allow me the time and financial freedom I started the agency for in the first place. But there was that voice in my headā€¦ ā€œYouā€™re not ready. Youā€™re not good enough to land 5-figure/month deals.ā€ After letting that voice control me for years, I decided to tell that voice something simple: Fuck. Off. I sat down and created an offer I believed would deliver massive valueā€” Then spent my time going after Enterprise Clients who could both afford it and would be able to get that massive value. Was I nervous? Absolutely. Did I feel a bit like an imposter? You bet. But I realized ā€” Iā€™m already chasing clients and dealing with rejection anyway.. So why not do that with the big fish? One morning that January, I had a call with a brand that I would normally consider ā€˜out of our leagueā€™ But I went through the process Iā€™d createdā€¦ Made the offerā€¦ And they said yes. I couldnā€™t believe it. In an instant, all of the doubt and limiting beliefs Iā€™d held were shattered. From that moment on, the 10K offer became our floor and allowed us to reach $171K in revenue by March. Iā€™m not telling you this to brag ā€” Iā€™m saying this because if I can do it, you can too. You have value to offer. Enterprise Clients need the solution you offer.

How I Landed My First 10K/m Client
How I Made $672K From Cold DMs
I closed my first 101 clients through cold DMs $672K collected It's not rocket science, but most people are TERRIBLE at them. If you want to not suck at them, copy my framework. (Normally the only way to get this is to pay $1K+ for consulting, but I'll give it here for free) Before we get going, let's talk about the single biggest mistake most people make In fact, I've gotten 4 DMs today that make this mistake.. People treat cold DMs like cold email. They COULD NOT BE more different. Think of it like talking to a girl (or boy, or whatever you're into) If the first message you send them is "WaNNa gO oN a dATe??" They're not going to respond, and you're going to look like a weirdo (Because you are) The point of your first DM is not to make your offer. If you DM someone your offer first, and they're not interested right off the bat (99% won't be) You will get no responses. They will treat you like the money-hungry person you are. The point of the first DM is to MAKE. A. CONNECTION. If you were trying to get a date, you might respond to a story and comment on the music they're listening to that you also like or a place they're at that you've been to as well The first DM should establish common ground. "But Alex, I'm doing DM outreach to get more clients!!! Not make friends!!" No shit. But you have to get them to drop their guard first and be open to having the conversation or they will lump you in with the hundred other DMs they got this week and ignore you When they respond... DON'T jump right into asking them "How's your business going?" or "What's your pain point?" (I actually got that as a DM last week) It's still too early. Focus on looking like a normal human and building a relationship with them. The next step... And this is crucial.... WAIT. Wait until they post something about their business (if they're active on social, they will) Your goal now is simple.. Make them think. "Hmm, that's interesting. Never thought of that before."

Is Your Ego Costing You Deals?
I've started getting lots of cold DMs (which I love because that's how I got my first 100ish clients) Some good, some not so good. A few times now, when I tell them I'm not interested in the service because it's something I've done before (ads, IG growth, email, websites, etc)... They'll tell me how I'm being 'arrogant' and 'keeping myself from scaling' by not taking a call with them.... yikes. This is a classic case of your ego costing you deals. Something I definitely struggled with when I first started. If you send 100 cold outreach messages, emails, cold calls, whatever... You should expect that 90% of them are not going to be interested. And if you lash out and become upset at them for not wanting to talk to you, you've successfully made sure that they will never work with you in the future and if your name comes up from one of their friends (which it will, because the business space is very small) They will tell their friend that you were a jerk and their friend also won't hire you. If someone says no, that's okay. Some of my biggest deals came from people who said no at first then reached back out down the line. Don't kill your future opportunities by letting your ego get in the way today. Hope this helps. --Alex
