Has Anyone Followed the Paleolithic Ketogenic Diet for 6 Months or More?
As individuals managing a metabolic disease, we often face dilemmas when choosing what to eat. Dairy or no dairy, this plant or that plant, this meat or that meat. I know there is no perfect answer and not all of us can depend on studies as it takes a special skill to decipher real studies from the biases in studies funded by big food and big pharma. I’d like to share my quick story about several detours in my diet journey: 1. Initially, I followed a clean diet of mostly plants, fish, eggs, grain, and other whole foods (e.g., cruciferous veggies, nuts, avocados, berries, salmon, fermented soy, kefir, wheat bread, etc). 2. After developing the metabolic disease, I changed to a ketogenic diet, it’s only been a few months. 3. Recently, I found the Paleolithic Ketogenic Diet (PKD), focusing on four-legged animal meat, animal fat, and organ meat. No dairy, no plants, no grain, no vegetable oils, no fish, no eggs. Having been on PKD for just a week, I've been feeling good, but of course, it’s subjective. Hence my question. I'd love to hear from anyone who has followed PKD for 6 months or longer. I would appreciate your experience and insights. I would also appreciate an expert comment from @Johnny Rockermeier if you will. Thank you

is it ideal thing to watch out glutamine thing in protein foods because most of the meat does have it, even we don’t consume glutamine our body produces it anyways. I always had a confusion if we can consume glutamine or not? Or if it really matters may be consume only plant based proteins by skipping meat cause it has less amino acid profile
Prevent your mitochondria from "breaking bad"!
As we have a lots of new members since last time I talked about it and since the RockSolid movie on the channel is already some months ago, I'd like to repost this video once again. Yes, maybe some of you will be annoyed but I think this has to be understood properly: Excess Omega 6s will damage your mitochondria, and that is probably the reason 1) That some of you got cancer in the first place (below 70, no alcohol&smoking) and 2) Cancer recurrence exists, even after a super successful surgery. (Not only do Omega 6s directly damage the Cardiolipin, there is a whole host of other compounds that our body turns into highly toxic compounds when eaten in excess, like HNE or Aldehyde) Is there proof for this in humans? Well, maybe you have heard of chinese women that get lung cancer in rising numbers, despite not being smokers? Cooking oils! Or maybe you heard of the rising cancer rate in the youth? Due to the now "en vogue" vegan diet, all the fats come from plants! Everybody should read the paper about the connection of seed oils on cardiolipin structure in this paper here - I don't think that the researchers expected such results themselves, otherwise they would have had a 3rd group with a moderate amount of sunflower oil: https://journals.physiology.org/doi/full/10.1152/ajpheart.00480.2004 ... and then watch the RockSolid diet movie, and maybe have a good laugh :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd3PiXPY854 The ebook with he sources I took all the linoleic acid values from is also in the classroom: https://www.skool.com/ketoforcancer/classroom/402818ec?md=8817507dc5ce4d72ac595abf67cc9921 In the video, I talk about a max of 10 grams a day. That is an average for both sexes. For men with cancer, the limit should rather be 7-8 grams, for women, 5-6 grams. Lower is better! A quick overview calculator is here,

@John Brebeuf Garcia I think we are mostly fine with suppression glucose just with proper keto diet and sometimes we might consider metformin to make it more effective. Real problem is managing glutamine , it is cleaver that what we think. Our body still manage to produce glutamine irrespective of drugs we use ( may be DON is exception). I am thinking to use less suppliments as possible or may be best alternatives to every drug we use . Like an example I replaced met formin with berberine which does the same effect with less side effects I want to know more about statins and may be risk vs benifits for fight against c
Do Vitamen C and supplements affect readings on keto mojo meter when having OMD protocol with low carb and more fat and protein diet
I have been on OMD low carb (50 gm) diet and my glucose levels are in the range of 87 to 94 while keto remain under 0.5 (sometime 0.3, 0.6 etc ) . During my 3 days water fast I checked my GIK. My sugar was same as above - 94 but my ketones reading went up to 3.4 and GIK evaluated was 1.17. Question : during my OMD , why my readings if ketones are under 0.5 ?? Because of Vitamen C and other supplements??? Please advice

I clearly see you are focusing on less intake of carbs but miss to take good amounts of fats, try to increase your fats combined with mct. If you don’t have proper sleep and uncontrolled stress your glucose levels are high irrespective of multiple day fasting. Sometimes medications also contribute to that
Fenbendazole question
I just started taking fenbendazole 5 days ago. I read somewhere that it's best to take with a meal. But another reading said it wasn't as effective that way. Does anyone have a recommendation as to their own experience taking it and suggestions? My dosage is 222 mcg. Also, I'll be starting up another water fast. Would it be more effective taking it during those days? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.

Fasting
Hi friends, I've started a 24 hour fast once a week, any thoughts on this from others? Is it sustainable and worth while?
