We have a Facebook group of 44,000 members who are military veterans. We want to bring them across to a FREE Skool community that offers coaching, welfare advice, employment tips and opportunities etc. However, although the community would be free, we also want to set up a subscription fund from within the community where we can raise money for charity. What would be the best way to do this? Thanks

Thanks @Jade Jemma. Yeah I figured that might be the case. Such a shame. Maybe an idea for a new feature in the future as we can take one-time payments for courses in the classroom.

@Chanie Twersky I thought the same think but was just conscious that it might cause unnecessary friction.
How to share replays of live community events
I have recently be running LinkedIn Power Hours inside my community. Sharing masses of value on various LinkedIn topics such as profile optimisation, content marketing, commenting strategies, how to dominate the dm's and much more. I have been recording the sessions for the members of my community but noticed that less and less members were showing up the the live Q & A sessions as they could just access the replays that I posted in the community later. This imo defeats the whole concept of what a community is all about. Plus those who just watch the replay, dont get their own questions answered. However, I'm mindful that I have members globally from different timezones so want to help as many of them as possible to elevate their presence on LinkedIn. So, my question is, how can I provide replays of live events and gameify them? In other words, make them available to certain members who qualify to watch them. May be a solution would be that they can only watch the replay if they meet certain criteria and perhaps have to answer questions about the replay after watching it to boost engagement in the community.. Would really appreciate hearing your ideas on this for me and @Imran Khushal inside the Brandin Community.

Just hit 100+ paying members!! Here are the things I wish I did sooner.
I reached my first 100 members in my community after about 28 days of consistent posting on TikTok and somewhat regular uploads on YouTube. Here are a few things I learned that I wish I had known earlier. First and foremost, I want to thank this community for the encouragement you all provide. Seeing everyone else take action really motivates you to follow suit. ### Create an Onboarding Video Creating a simple yet detailed onboarding video made a significant difference in community engagement. I used Loom to make a straightforward video that helps new members get started on the platform and understand the value they receive from our community. While I offer many giveaways and extra support, I initially failed to clearly communicate how members could access these benefits. Making this clear from the start is crucial. ### Giveaways To foster collaboration and interaction, I host a monthly giveaway. The top contributor for the past 30 days wins either a 90-minute session with me or a $50 gift voucher to Amazon or another store. This incentive keeps the community engaged and motivated. ### Record Your Live Sessions and Save Them Given our global audience, some members miss live sessions. I now record all sessions with Fathom and upload them in a category called 'Past Q&As'. Fathom automatically transcribes and summarizes the meetings, which I include below the video for a quick read before watching the full session. ### Asking for Feedback We’ve had minimal subscription cancellations (only five so far). When someone cancels, we reach out for feedback on how we can improve the community and provide more value. Some provide great insights, while others were just looking for quick information. ### Invite Other Experts To enhance retention, I’ve started inviting other experts in AI, SEO, and Automations to join one of our weekly sessions each month. It’s surprising how many are willing to participate when they know there’s a paying community eager to learn.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing these tips
Feedback email to improve retention
Would be great to have an automatic email with a feedback form go out to anyone cancelling their community subscription. This would enable community members to collect feedback on where they could improve their communities for better retention rates.

Categories for courses in the Classroom
It would be great to have a the ability to place courses into relevant category folders in the classroom. For example: I co-run the BrandIn Community for solopreneurs who want to take the game on LinkedIn to the next level. We would love to be able to create a folders for: Profile Opimisation Content strategies DM strategies Commenting strategies Lead generation strategies etc Would make it so much easier to navigate courses.
