I just moved here!
Hey fellow facilitators! I'm new to the FC, I just moved here from the AJ&Smart YouTube channel. ;) I am a US based (Charleston, South Carolina to be specific) program/project manager, creative problem solver and work-shopper. I love facilitating workshops because it gives me the opportunity to be in person with various team types and industries, getting to know them and helping them solve challenges in creative ways. One of my strengths is in my ability to read a room of people and adapt to the personalities and dynamics before and in real time to provide an environment and experience completed tailored to the participants/clients. I'm eager to learn additional workshop exercises, how to better prep for workshops through other workshopper's lessons learned and experience, and how to land more clients! In my personal life, I'm a barre teacher and teacher trainer, a voracious reader, avid traveler, and personal style enthusiast. Oh, and I love spenidng time with my 2 cats, Gucci and Fendi 😻 What's the best thing you've learned from the facilitator club?!

Raising a Glass to Raising Kids - Dad Workshop Idea
Hey there, guys. Alrighty…I’m ready to start implementing ideas I’ve gained from this course and want to share an idea I’ve been working on and would very much like to get your feedback. I’m looking at creating a free monthly interactive workshop series aimed at parents (specifically targeting dads) called…I guess…“Raising A Glass To Raising Kids.” The idea is to bring dads together for some real talk over beers while tackling the challenges dads face...with each month a different focus. Each workshop would run for about 1.5 to 2 hours, and I plan to run them using the Lightning Decision Jam (LDJ) method to get everyone involved and engaged. We’ll just be using a whiteboard, marker and post-it notes…I’m thinking Friday evenings could be a good time slot since it would give dads a chance to unwind and do some dad bonding after the workweek. I've designed a poster for the first event, which I’m aiming to have happening Friday, 1st November, at a local bar (still need to discuss this with them), and as mentioned the idea is to do the workshop every month with a different focus at each event. I’d love to hear your thoughts on: - The concept: LDJ for dads/parents—does this kinda workshop resonate? - The poster: What can I improve or tweak to make it more appealing? - Any tips on creating a fun, engaging environment for these types of workshops? - Anyone have any experience doing anything similar?

@Douglas Fenech good workshop idea, reflect on whether the beer glass would appeal to non-drinkers.
Where do organizations struggle most when looking to make meaningful change?
Hello all. I have put together a small poll on LinkedIn asking this question. I would love your insights. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/garettbugda_im-curious-to-hear-your-take-please-provide-activity-7251684875060088849-1oSn?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

ChatGPT is your new co-facilitator PART 2
I have previously shared how to use chatGPT to prepare for a workshop (link in comments). Now, I want to share how one might use it **during a workshop**. Just open the pictures and scroll through them :)) Some conclusions: ✅ ChatGPT as a co-facilitator you can resort to throughout the workshop. ✅ Prepare the robot beforehand and give it context, so it can help you during breaks ✅ Keep the chatGTP window open and have a two-way conversation, sharing back your own learnings along the way ✅ I cannot wait to see the amazing abilities AI will continue to bring facilitators How about you? What experiments have you been doing with AI and facilitation?
