7-Day Free Trails x Time Unlocks (The best Combo)
When Skool introduced 7-day free trials, it felt like a great way to let people experience the value of a community risk-free. But the real magic happens when you combine it with Time Unlocks. Here’s why this combo works so well: - Immediate Value: Trial members get access to enough content upfront to see the value of joining, keeping them hooked from day one. - Built-In Anticipation: By setting your most valuable courses or resources to unlock only after 7 days, you create excitement and a reason to stay beyond the Free Trial - Retention Made Easy: Members don’t just come for the free trial; they stick around to unlock the real gold after the trial period ends. If you’re using free trials, pairing them with time unlocks is hands-down the best way to keep members engaged and turning into paying subscribers. Let me know if it works for you

Free group or paid?
What are the pros and cons of starting a free group versus a paid group? I’m worried that a free group might attract a lot of bots or inactive members who won’t convert to paid. I know a free group can have some benefits, but I’m unsure. Any advice or experiences?

Brainstorming at Skool
I am working on my new community, however, currently figuring out the right tools and back end stuff Anybody tried Podia with Skool? How was the experience? I really love Podia as a website platform and it also provides email marketing, journeys and Automations I archived my community at Skool a few days ago, when I realized that the message was not going right It was about Introverts and helping them excel, but then i realized after chatting with one member on SKool, @Suzanne Buckley, that being an introvert is not a weakness but a SUPER POWER, Thank you. Suzanne 🎈 That totally turned my idea upside down because, as an introvert myself, I never considered it my weakness. Yes, I like to work from the comfort of my home or anywhere else, but what's wrong with that? SOMETIMES YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY STAYING IN YOUR COMFORT ZONES So now I am totally thinking on different lines But thats what I was saying; that you find so amazing people at Skool everyday, so much to learn, so great experience

How are you handling 1-time purchases in the classroom
I offer one off calls, but once someone makes the one-time purchase, I’m pretty sure that “classroom” stays open (which leads to my zoom calendar). How are you using 1-off calls in your classrooms?

I use highlevel and in the calendar section you can specify that participants can only schedule one call
Internal affiliate program coming soon?
I'm eager to supercharge our group's growth by empowering members to refer friends—and rewarding them for it! While Circle offers this feature, I’m committed to sticking with Skool and believe we could greatly benefit from integrating a similar capability. Here's ideas: 1. Affiliate Rewards for Members: Once members reach a certain level, they qualify to become affiliates. This milestone achievement not only boosts engagement but also incentivizes members to bring in new faces. 2. Explosion of Growth: Implementing this feature could dramatically increase our membership. Since most Skool groups already encourage referrals, offering a tangible reward could significantly boost actual referral rates. 3. Referral Tracking System: Even for our free groups, having a referral tracking system would be invaluable. This system wouldn't rely on traditional commissions but would instead allow us to recognize and reward members in meaningful ways—whether through free coaching sessions, courses, gift cards, or even tech gadgets like an iPad. This approach would not only incentivize referrals in both our free and paid communities but also foster a dynamic growth environment. Having both traditional affiliate benefits for our paid groups and creative rewards for free group referrals would offer the best of both worlds.
