Where are you on your journey?πŸ‰πŸ€
Today on Instagram I shared a video showing some clips of me now and then photos of me and my skin from back when I was sick for years. I think it’s easy to just see all the content I put out now and think oh well you’ve always been healthy so it must just be easy for you. Or think that I must be special in some way and that’s why I have the health I have. But both of those assumptions are so far from the truth. I wasn’t always healthy. And I’m not healthy today because I am special. As I said in the caption of my video, I didn’t arrive here over night. It took months and years of consistency and dedication to my health and nutrition. I didn’t get better because I’m special or lucky, I got better because I set my mind to it, made the changes, and did the work. AND I was patient with myself as hard as it was to be patient lol! πŸ˜… You can heal too! You just gotta be willing to commit to it! Where do you find yourself on your journey? Are you feeling stuck and unmotivated? Do you have your habits locked in and just giving your body time to heal now? Or do you have thoughts worrying that maybe you don’t have what it takes to heal? Share in the comments! I’d love to hear and see how we can support each other wherever we are in our journey to health! πŸ’–βœ¨

I feel inspired & like I finally found something that is working for my body. I stopped eating meat 2 weeks ago & started observing my fat intake (I already was gluten free & dairy free) & my digestive issues have become so minimal. I am looking for a way to make this change stick long term & I want to start exercising more (currently doing 15-30 minutes of stretching most days). I am ultimately just glad I found a community to feel normal in. πŸ™‚

Your recipes are really inspiring. Right now I'm defaulting to watermelon, smoothies, salsa & baby carrots when I want something raw.

@Michelle Adams Great, thank you Michelle! That looks like one day of food for you, is that correct?
Workout Guide
Hi Everyone! Two things I hear often is "how do I build muscle or get toned?" and "how much protein do I need to get toned?" It's really quite simple. You need to work the muscles to build strength and tone and you need to eat enough nourishing food daily that has glucose and amino acids. You can provide your muscles with all the aminos acids and glucose needed to get toned, but if you're not actively working the muscle nothing will happen. Fruits are one of the best foods to support our muscles both in fueling a workout and in recovery. So it's easy to take the first step: eat more fruit. The next may be more difficult: be more active and lift more weights. You don't have to be lifting crazy heavy weights. You can simply lift whatever feels challenging or even just start with body weight. If you are curious where to start comment WORKOUT and I'll send you my 7-day workout guide!
