What's your biggest regret from people-pleasing?
I keep seeing this pattern...(especially something I used to do ALL the time) we stay quiet, nod along, and say yes to EVERYTHING. Then lay in bed at night, replaying all the things we WISH we'd said. That mental replay becomes a loop of self-criticism that feels impossible to break. Let's be honest about what it's really costing us..." 👇 Share below: What would you tell your younger self about people-pleasing?

What's your biggest regret from people-pleasing?
It's 3 AM. Your mind won't shut up. Here's why your bathroom sink has the answer...
(You're about to discover why 90% of anxiety advice actually makes things worse) You know that moment? Your head hits the pillow... But your mind hits replay on every awkward moment from today. That thing you said at work keeps echoing. That look someone gave you won't fade away. And tomorrow's worries? They're having a party in your head. So you try everything: - Deep breathing (still thinking) - Meditation apps (thinking louder) - Counting sheep (now thinking about sheep problems) But what if I told you... The answer has been sitting in your bathroom sink this whole time? Here's the 2-minute story that transformed my whole life with an overactive mind: Picture this moment from this morning: You're brushing your teeth, and there it is --A sink full of murky water. What's your instant reaction? If you're like 97% of overthinkers (I was too), you: → Reach for the plunger → Turn the tap on full blast → Try ANYTHING to force it clear But wait... What if that's exactly why your mind stays cloudy? Here's the mind-blowing part: Leave that sink alone for 60 seconds and watch closely... The murky water? It clears itself. No effort. No force. No "techniques" or "10-step solutions." Just. Pure. Stillness. And guess what? Your racing thoughts work EXACTLY the same way. Think about it: - Your mind = the sink - Your anxious thoughts = the murky water - Your constant fixing = keeping it stirred up But here's the secret that changed everything: The harder you try to "fix" your thoughts The more you stir them up The cloudier everything becomes. And if you want to implement this, here's the simple 2-step ritual that's helped a lot of overthinkers find clarity: 1. Morning Clarity Method (takes 5 minutes)  • Wake up • Before touching your phone • Watch your thoughts like murky water • Let them settle (they will, trust the process) 2. Throughout The Day: When anxiety hits, remember: "I'm not fixing the water, I'm letting it settle"

@Omar Kane totally get where you're coming from man. sometimes it does sound simple, but like they say u know, common sense isn’t always common practice. the power is in actually trying it out and letting it settle

@Pete Borisov I really appreciate the honesty man. Sometimes the extra detail helps the idea stick, but you’re right, the essence is what matters. Letting the murky water settle is where the real magic happens
pleases don’t let that "one" thing hold you back...
Listen, I know it’s tough. You feel drained, guilty, and like you’re stuck in a loop where nothing seems worth doing. You've spent days hiding away, scrolling, avoiding the things that actually matter, and it’s only making you feel worse. You’ve been in this place before, feeling like you’ll never escape this cycle of anxiety and self-doubt. But here's the good and bad news... The momentum you need? You’ve got to create it "now". Let me say that again... The momentum you need, will have to be created right now. You can’t keep postponing this. You can’t let the past mistakes hold you hostage. You can’t keep waiting for the moment when you’re so fed up with yourself that you finally take action. You can start making progress right now. Yes... even if you feel like crap. Even if you’re drained, socially exhausted, and convinced that no one would want to talk to you anyway. But not because of some “tough it out” mindset or “alpha male” nonsense. It’s because deep down, you know that the longer you let yourself stay stuck in this rut, the harder it will be to get out later. I'm not going to lie to you... it will be hard. But you’ve got a choice...you can choose to spiral upwards, starting NOW. You can stop scrolling. Stop avoiding the things that make you uncomfortable. Start giving your emotions the attention they deserve. What are they really trying to tell you? Is it fear of rejection? Loneliness? Lack of confidence? Start paying attention, because those emotions are trying to show you where you need to grow. Do something, and I mean anything that’ll push you forward. A simple workout, talking to someone you trust, or even just a small action like putting yourself out there in a way that feels uncomfortable but necessary. Start treating yourself like you would a close friend...with compassion and support, not judgment. Now...imagine you open your phone and the next video you see is a message from your future self. What would he say? What would he warn you about? What would he beg you to do right now to break out of this cycle?

Lifting has lost it's purpose
This past weeks My training sessions started to suck. I just go there andnwhen I lift i don't do it hard enough and when I try i simply don't know why, I lost my ambition in terms of physical activities or aports, when I go there I just go but don't find any energy to lift with. Physical both mental, like no hunger anymore. This also happens in My BJJ class where when i go there I don't actually find the energy to be there, in sparring they usually tap me out constantly and I surrender easily because I feel like the urge of winning. I wasn't like this, I used to crave going to the gym, to struggle and try to submit the other guy with everything i had, to learn to fight. Thoughts on this?

man, it sounds like you’ve lost your drive. have u lost your why? like, what made u crave the gym and BJJ in the first place? sometimes we lose motivation when we forget the bigger reason behind it do u feel stuck or like your goals just shifted? getting clear on that might help u find the spark again
