Weightlifting Routine Help
Hey guys, I've grown a little bit tired of my weight lifting routine that I've attached below. I've had the same basic routine for almost 2 years now. Granted I do swap out an exercise or two every couple of months. I'm just wondering if you guys have any recommendations to switch things up here. I'm not tied to the PPL but a 3 day split works well for me. Also open to any other workout recommendations for warm ups or anything else. Thanks

Weightlifting Routine Help

@Michael Martin I would say that my main goal is probably aesthetics but I also hope to perform better outside the weight room like I play volleyball, ski, bike, and surf. As far as tracking, I print out the spreadsheet and fill in the weight that I am able to lift and try incrementally increasing it each week. But that’s all I am tracking really

@Michael Martin I'm not familiar with that, no. Could you share some more info or resources that you use?
What do you do & where are you from?!
I’m curious what everyone does for work and where they are from! Let me know in the comments below⬇️

I live in Seattle and work as an environmental engineer
What food do you struggle with the most?
I'm very consistent and disciplined when it comes to my nutrition. I hit my protein goal of 210g each day and rarely miss my daily calorie intake. But today, I struggled. I started the day off strong. Here is the breakdown: - Pre-workout: Chocolate Chip Cliff Bar - Post-workout: 170g mixed berries. 20g honey - Breakfast: 10oz egg whites, 2 eggs - Lunch: 16oz ground beef Then, I got home from work. And this is when things got out of hand. I was ready for a snack. I opened the refrigerator door and THERE IT WAS! My all-time favorite... Member's Mark (Sam's Club) Mexicali Dip. I busted it out and went to town... Now, I want to make it clear that I fully recognize and understand that it is TOTALLY okay to partake and indulge in my favorite foods. But what I also want to recognize and highlight is that I know that chips and dip are a food that typically make me go overboard. Food is neither good nor bad. It simply is. But our relationship with food is unique to us as individuals. It is important to know how we behave with different foods and how they can make us feel. So, with that being said, what food do you struggle with the most? Comment below and let me know what you think.

Crackers and cheese can be deadly for me
Day one
I decided today was the day. I signed up for a structured workout program for the first time, I can do anything for 30 days. Ate clean today and feeling good. Struggling to find good clean caffeine without calories to give energy through training. If y’all have recommendations let me know! Today was leg day and…😅 I can feel the consequences of not being in the gym for the last month The weather is great where I am so I plan on my exercise being some outdoor trail walking. It’s gonna be a good kickstart month🫶🏼

Big green tea guy myself
Hey guys, I'm Otto
Hey guys, I'm Otto. I wanted to join this community because I've been feeling a bit stagnant in the fitness realm. I tend to cook the same meals for myself repeatedly and I've been using the same 3-day PPL weightlifting routine for about 2 years now (though my consistency with this varies). I'm looking for some new inspiration and new goals to set for myself. Fun fact: I love riding my bike, it's my main form of transportation and I'd like to gain a better understanding of how I can work that into my fitness goals.

@Jill Westfall Yeah, I think the main issue is I'm getting tired of the taste of those same meals. Interested in seeing any meal ideas that you have. Especially those that are easy to cook because I'm lazy lol
