Week four weirdness
Starting week 4 with Push 1. For leg press and tricep extension I was able to increase the weight and could still do 8 - 10 reps, awesome. But chest press and shoulder press? Couldn't even complete the amount of reps I've done in the previous 3 weeks. I kept checking the machines to see if there was extra weigh added anywhere, but no. I went from 10,9,8,8 to 10,8,7,6. Not a HUGE difference, but it still felt really disappointing. So I guess it's "yay thighs and triceps" and just keep at it.

Contrarily, today's Pull 1 got it's ass handed to it royally! Increase of weight or reps on ALL exercises. And it's my least favorite of the workouts, so grr. punched it.

I've been making all meals at home, I'm using The Meal Prep Manual site, so I can weigh out all the measurements and know how many macros and calories per serving. Just makes it easier to keep track of the numbers. I'm focusing more on getting enough protein, which is getting easier. I'm trying to keep my sweet tooth under control with more fruits, but dammit I want a cookie sometimes. If I were to guess I'd say my diet is mostly protein, then carbs like pasta or rice, then vegetables fruits and nuts...trying to keep a minimum of fats, dairy and sweets.

@Gino Ciavone Thanks - looks like I don't have access to the fat loss module.
week 1
Week 1 completed. Went very well! I wasn't sure I could do 4 workouts in a week without wiping myself out, but the way the days and workouts are laid out it hasn't been an issue so far. I have a better sense of what weights to use, got introduced to some new exercises, and am getting a clear idea of what all I'll need to work on.

may have spoken too soon! The laying hamstring curls was a new one for me and two days later - whooo wheee! Thems some sore hammies! Kept me up half the night, though thankfully no cramping. I'm taking some supplemental magnesium, I think that helps. Regardless - managed to hit the Push 1 workout this morning and the leg press may have also helped.

325mg of magnesium glycinate. I've also occasionally taken magnesium threonate.
